@chicken008: You're really surprised Palmer Luckey made it but not Nick Robinson? The face of VR versus a dude who was intern at Giant Bomb then video producer at Polygon for 2 years.
I'm surprised Nick and NeoGAF didn't make it because I think, just like Palmer Luckey, they completely undid their reputation. I guess it just depends if you were a fan of these things. I'm sure some people cared more about Nick/NeoGAF than Palmer. Maybe this will be brought up in the "Please Stop" category.
Why would that even make a top list of hot messes? I mean sure it was a fucked up situation but was it any worse than the ones the crew used? Plus as Abby said in the video itself, stuff like that is a societal problem that is an ongoing thing etc. Though trust me, I get why you would want to include it. Sigh, what a year huh?
Mainly surprised because Palmer Luckey won this category last year for the unmaking of his image.
