@Dunchad: You are probably right on every issue. You actually have decent reasons for hating swedes... well, spoiled stockholm brats anyways, but no one really likes them, not even their own mothers. But don't tell me you don't have that type in Finland aswell.
As for the hockey, yes, that's pure friendly rivalry. But it's good to have something to compare to since norweigans and danes can't even hold a club while looking at a pair of skates.
The nordic countries all seem so similar to me (although I'm sure there are plenty of differences) so this is kind of funny. Also, to the guy talking about Canada/US, there's no rivalry, no one actually cares.
We're more similar than we want to admit... except from denmark who have their own blended "continental/norse" flavor. They can be adorably weird at times :) I can't believe the US/Canada rivalry is anywhere close to what we have.
I always liked Team Sweden's hockey jerseys. The 3 Crowns are pretty cool. Although, I feel a bit bad since I do not know what they represent.

I as a dude from Skåne, Sweden once made sweet love to a finnish woman. Danes got good humor (Dolph og Wulff).I just dont get a single word of finnish cept for whats on the ketchup bottle and TP packs. Stupid finnish-hungarian language thingie.Call it sibling love/rivalry.
You should check out "Pandaerne" an animated series made by Mikael Wulff and Anders Morgenthaler, same guys who did Dolph og Wulff. Its at least equally as fucked up, if not even more.

Finland is a beautiful country with some of the best people around :) Mari Kiviniemi (prime minister) one of my heroes, kind of, since all that world peace talk (how's that going, by the way?)
Here's a fun fact: Nowegian television show the swedish broadcast when when they win over us at skiing sports... just to gloat at the commentators silent disappointment (actually, I love this. But it's pretty damn hatefull).
