These are games that are judged primarily on how enduring their entertainment value is(to me). So even if a certain game or series was really good, if I can't go back and play it then it probably will not appear on this list. Note that I don't actually have a favorite I have favorites. So these games are not in any particular order.
The whole series. I cannot even begin to express how much I love STALKER. By far the best mix of FPS and Adventure in the industry. Especially with any Complete Mod or any mod pack that improves graphics and adds more guns.
One of my favorite FPS games. You can cut off a demon's head and use it to shoot fire out of its eyes! What's not to like?
This and WCW/nWo: Revenge. They're the same engine they're basically the same game with different characters. No Mercy is essentially Revenge 2. The best 2 wrestling games of all time.
This RTS game is what got my into the world of 40K lore. One of the few games that truly honors the lore and does it justice.
This and Fallout 3. I can go to these games and continue to be surprised by all the side quests I haven't played. Easily the two games I've sunk the most hours into.
When I first got this game I couldn't even read, so I never got passed the Deku Tree dungeon for at least a year.
This was my first RPG and will always be my favorite.. The main story is lengthy and combined with the free, roaming and side quests there is more than enough to keep you occupied.
I'm not sure which is better. This or Super Mario Bros. 3. I love them both. They are to this day the only platformers I can stand.
The campaign is just so lengthy there's no need for side missions. Half-Life 2 was revolutionary in not using cutscenes to convey story, but all the story and fancy animations happened in the actual game play.

Doom I and II. AH just so great. Especially with the mod Brutal Doom installed. Just so great, go play it.
This game was one of the first games to almost completely focus on travel. The whole game is a mix of traveling and platforming and I know those two words can sound boring, but it's such great fun.
