I bought this way back when Patrick recommended it. That was what, a hundred years ago now?
Great game. I played three chapters of it or whatever was out of it at the time. I don't know if I feel like playing it anymore, but I'm glad they were able to finish it. It has some good moments.
Yes. There are several actors from the movie reprising their roles in this game.
Also, in that picture when you guys said you saw yourself twice it's because Deckard was interrogating someone in the background (the guy that looks like McCoy in the background with his back to the camera is Deckard- Harrison Ford's character from the film).
This game makes constant reference to the fact that the movie is happening at around the same time. Often Deckard is one step ahead of you- often having interrogated someone just before you leaving them irritated and stuff like that. It's one of the best things about the game. That and there are multiple ways the game can play out. Time plays a factor and it changes how conversations will go and where characters will be. There's so many ambitious things in this game. It's so good. One of my favorite adventure games of all time.
Oh, and it's honestly better to not play it with a guide other than a few spots (like the bomb) because of how the game randomizes certain important elements. It's better to just play and let what happens happen. That's how the game is intended to be played anyway. Dont worry about missing something unless you're really really stuck.
