@audiobusting: Yep. One of the stretch goals was to port it to XBLA/PSN. Though, at this point, that probably means PS4/XBONE rather than PS3/360.

@cale: It's coming out a year after it was released in the States, and DS games are region free, so most of us Europeans who cared that much probably already imported it. And an enhanced 3DS port with an extra campaign has already been announced, so if (like me) you haven't played it yet you're probably better off waiting. There's basically no reason to buy this game now.

I can't see Sony spending any money to guarantee an exclusive for PS3 when the new consoles will already be out. Even if the new consoles weren't out yet, the Persona series is very niche outside of Japan, so there wouldn't be much point to buying exclusivity since it will already be a de facto PS3 exclusive in Japan given the 360's irrelevance in that territory. I also don't think Atlus would bother introducing the Xbox audience to Persona with P4 Arena if they weren't going to put the next major game on that platform.

I certainly think that Sony would be willing to throw money to keep the Persona series exclusive, especially if Golden sold as many Vitas as it anecdotally did. In fact, Sony paying huge amounts of money to make it a Vita exclusive would probably make more sense than to pay for it to be a PS3 exclusive. It would be cheaper for Atlus to make too. Not that I think it's in any way likely, just throwing it out there.

@deadmoscow: I played the EU version, which only had Japanese voices and Zero III was fantastic in Japanese.

@GetEveryone: The law is actually in the process of being changed, this bill is currently going through the legislative process. Still no legal aid for slander/libel though, which is the change I think would make the most difference.

jRPGs. But that's because they don't like them, generally. Though I'd love some Jeff/Vinny QLs where they mock them like they do sports games. That'd be fun. Or possibly Brad should get in there... he is the designated anime editor after all.

@Farbelowaverage: They've said that it will import your choices somehow, but seeing as how broken the save file transfer between 1 and 2 was, I'm expecting a catch-up question and answer type thing.
