I picked up my copy today. The Game Stop near my house, didn't even know it was released Sunday. They had to get copies out of the back. Online battles are awesome, even if I did spend about 10 minutes in the lobby waiting for someone to join my game. Fortunately, you can play a practice round while you wait.
The night club in the Wii Golden Eye remake was a pleasant surprise. It had a cool vibe, and the fact they got a Deadmau5 song in a Wii game was awesome. "I Remember" is one of my favorites. I still want the Golden Eye remix version. Hopefully the Xbox re-re-release will have the same scene with the same song.
Although, its probably not that rare... I convinced a GameStop employee to give me one of the promotional Lucha Libre masks that were recalled from the "Luche Libre AAA" game. However, it was a La Parka mask. I also have the awesome and totally functional Mirror's Edge messenger bag that came with pre-orders of the game. Pre-order premiums need to be like that... functional items.
Are they going to make it less nausea inducing? I hope so. I hope that's the reason for the delay. I remember how motion sick this game used to make me. Nothing made me more sick, though, than Wolfenstein 3D
I know I'm asking a lot on day one, but can I please watch the video I just uploaded to the game servers? I went to the rapstar website, clicked on "the fame" and apparently that portion of the site is down. On top of that, the downloadable content isn't working (it pops up an error when you try to buy a song). My free DLC for reserving the game also won't work until the 13th. Other than those problems, I'm enjoying the hell out of this game. I think everyone has the ability to do "Nuthin' But a G-Thang" on hard and still get 5 mics. That song is built into your DNA.
You would think this thing would be automatic, considering I even beta tested Xbox Live back on the original xbox days.I feel like I deserve a badge or avatar sticker or something.
