This is certainly something different and I might have called it art but the F2P nature of the game makes any kind of artistic ambition invalid. Putting shitty puzzles into the crafting just to make people spend real money is really bad. The only kind of F2P I can get behind is when it doesn't impact the gameplay, meaning cosmetic things and such.
Tacos are my favorite food but here in Sweden we don't have Taco Bell, in fact we don't have many taco resturants and since it is so messy to eat I prefer to eat at home anyway. I have not learned how to eat tacos without making a mess. When I bite into it it just shoots meat and sauce all over the place. I like to use tortillas instead of the hard shells but I make a mess still.
My Brazillian wife had never eaten tacos before she came to Sweden. Here every store have a big taco section but she had never seen it in Brazil. Kind of ironic since we are much further away from Mexico.
Santa Maria is the biggest brand here for taco sauce and what I usually use but I like Old El Paso too but that's not very common to find. Then there are cheap store brand ones that don't taste as good.
I eat so much tacos that I don't buy the small packades of taco seasoning I buy the 1.1kg packages that is like a milk carton.
Yokusoka is actually the name of the city you are in. Yamanose and Sakuragaoka etc are parts of that. The Tattoo parlor is not in a different region. You don't go to another region until later. You are still just on disc 1.
They keep saying the game is bad but when it came out it was up there with games like MGS and FF7 for me. Shenmue, Shenmue 2 and Skies of Arcadia were enough for me to feel good about my decision to get a DC instead of waiting for PS2. I was devestated for years when Shenmue 3 never happened but now that it will I'm not sure how I will react to it since it was half a life time ago since I Played Shenmue 1 and 2.
They were talking about a time skipping feature but that was not added until Shenmue 2 because people complained about having to wait so you guys just have to wait or get really good at arcade games. I spent so much time in the arcade when I played this. Also it is good to practice and level up your moves. Even if you have not been in a proper fight yet there will be a lot of them later in the game. You will also learn more moves from people or by finding hidden move scrolls.
For a console that only had about 24MB of RAM, they really packed in a lot of detail to every area.
...So much detail it's confounding these guys trying to traverse it all! Kinda funny that, them being stumped by a 16 year old Dreamcast game's world, in an era when we have giant open world games the size of GTAV, etc, lol.
It doesn't have 24MB. A Dreamcast just have 16MB of RAM. I have 16GB in my PC and phones have 1-4GB of RAM these days, it is really amazing what they do with just 16MB. But it was still a lot more powerful than a Playstation 1 which had just 2MB. N64 had 4MB or 8MB with the expansion card.
But maybe you were including the 8MB VRAM so I guess that is 24MB in total. There are 8GB VRAM graphics card these days, it is hard to imagine how they could do anything with just 8MB.
But can it display more than 400 flying monkeys on screen? (iPhone 7 press conference reference).
I figured that would be the price of the slim but I was hoping for a bigger price cut. At just 100 dollar between them I see no reason to get a PS4 slim over a pro. They should have made it 199 or at least 249 dollars.
After a grueling week away from a premier subscription I'm back! Let's do this!
Same here. My subscription just lapsed a week ago and as I am short on cash I did not renew but thanks to the sale I went ahead and subbed for another year. They deserve it for the Shenmue endurance run alone. Even if I could watch it without being a premium member I'd like to support them if I can.
