@mb: Thank you very much for the tip. I joined the community and was in a clan in minutes. I actually wasn't aware of the community feature in this game. It sounds fantastic for keeping me engaged with a community that didn't exist to me previously. Social interaction was the one thing that had me engaged in MMOs for so many years in the past. This definitely breathes new life into the time I'll give Diablo 3 and it's expansion (that I just bought).

I tried to join one of the clans, I believe it was squad three. There were quite a few spots open in it. I put in a request and after a couple days my request is gone. I'm assuming it was denied... there really isn't much information there. I'll try for squad five then.

I went through something similar. I played the beta quite a bit and loved every second of it. I pre-ordered the game and played through both campaigns... again, loving every match. I found the game to be incredibly fun and revitalize something in me that I used to have for gaming in my Call of Duty years. I couldn't believe how exhilarating it felt.

But then I didn't play it again after playing through both campaigns. And I have no idea why.

I can confirm that the weekend (and I believe possibly Friday, depending on what time of day it is (though I may be wrong)) before release is too late to take advantage of the release day delivery with your free 2-day Prime membership. I went through the same issue with a release in the past and was upset that I had to spend the few bucks to get one-day shipping and have it to me on release day.

Joining a guild and having friendlies to talk to is definitely my best chance at enjoying an MMO and continuing to play it.

I'm @Dalerax.

As a former DAoC player, the PvP in this game sounds right up my alley. Like something I've been dying to have back for years and years. I bought the game earlier today and just finished downloading.

It's funny because I just couldn't get into Oblivion or Skyrim. The lore and setting sounded great but the first person view and awkward combat / character actions just completely ruined my time and I didn't play much more than that. I've watched enough of this game to see that there isn't that strange zoom in on characters ugly faces when you're talking to them, which is nice. This game will allow me to play and fight in third person too, and in doing so, will alleviate a lot of what I didn't enjoy in previous Elder Scrolls games. It's like I'm having my cake and eating it too with that and the PvP (I hope).

I think this game is actually a lot of fun, I don't know what the future holds for it, if it does go free to play at some point then so be it but Damn I cannot believe how down people are on this game here, the PvP is fantastic the sound design and DAOC inspired keep takes have been a blast, on a high end computer it looks quite sharp in all areas I have been in especially taken into account that it is an MMO. The quest have been supported by high quality VO and some tough but creative bosses. Maybe I'm crazy I feel like I have a pretty high taste in games I just don't get the Hyper negative reaction I am having a really great time playing it.

You have my attention. I haven't enjoyed an MMO nearly as much as I did since I played DAoC for years and years. I've been dying for something to take hold of me like that game did but every MMO I've tried (with the exception of WoW) I ended up quitting after getting about 20 levels into my first character. I miss that kind of PvP, or should I say RvR. Realm pride and constantly monitoring the keeps and relics was something that had me hooked. I also thought I read something about ESO possibly having a zone like Darkness Falls, but I didn't get any specifics on the issue. This is something I'll be monitoring. I'd be more than happy to pay a subscription for it if it even came close to providing what DAoC did for me.

$58.5 million. It looks to be more entertaining than the first but I'm not sure it'll do as well.

That final segment was one of the best things I've watched on this website. And that's saying a lot, considering there's so many great things.

That said, I was a little disappointed by Titanfall's MP campaign. I honestly couldn't keep track of which characters were who, what side they were fighting on, or why I should care. In fact, after beating both sides of the campaign, I'm still not even sure what the central conflict of the game is other than a vague sense that the IFC corporation is shitty and acting like a bunch of cock-knockers.

I have to agree. I've only played one side of the multiplayer but it sounds like it's the same thing on the other side, more or less. I had a big problem with the way the "story" was delivered in their attempt at a campaign in multiplayer. I tried to keep up with the tale they were trying to tell before and after the matches, but during the matches there was no way I could pay attention to the progression while I was playing with other players. More often than not, something important would be happening in the corner of my screen that I couldn't focus on at all because I was locked in a gunfight or trying to grab a victory towards the end of the match. Heck, there were even times when the match would end in the middle of a main character's dialogue (possibly due to my team eliminating the other team during evacuation? I'm not sure).

I'm enjoying the game very much, but this campaign is absolutely forgettable. I can't tell you a single thing that happened story-wise.
