This was more of a podcast than a commentary track. I ended up listening to it separate from the movie as they probably only talk about it for 10 percent of the time. God bless Alex for at least trying to keep them on track. Seems to be a common theme.
Dan has pushed people to play through every Mario Party, MGS, SC, Mario Sunshine ect ect ect. Yet when its time for someone else to do a series/feature they want, he acts like an 8 year old. I am starting to realise just how selfish Dan seems to be. I really hope this is just limited to his on screen "gimmick".
Bummed they seem to be going back on the whole playing through every Yakuza game like they originally stated. This is the best thing GB has done since Persona 4, and is the reason I purchased premium. So sucks if this is the end.
So glad this has turned into an ongoing series. Hope it continues for a while. I have always being fascinated by this type of game, but could never bring myself to stomach more than 2 mins of an obnoxious Twitch stream.
@csl316: @dave_tacitus: Agreed. The controls take some getting used to, but they are very tight, and actually function very well once you click with them. It is a very mechanics heavy game, that we just do not see anymore in modern games where everything has to be "dumbed down". Then again, if I was able to grasp it at 11 years old, it really can't of been that hard.
I am not one who usually takes someone not liking something I do to heart, but I guess when it happens every other demo derby with the same tired critiques it gets old. And while I expect it from Dan, I guess figured Brad would be a tad more objective, and not just dismiss it as unfairly. But nope, even he gave the "Was Tomb Raider ever good?" line after 30 seconds. O well, there can't be that many more TR demos left, right...
