Fable II Likes & Dislikes

What I liked about the game

• The combat system: Just by pressing a button, I could melee, shoot or use magic on an enemy.  This made the combat frantic and satisfying.
• Easy money: Gold seemed to fall from the sky in this game, even when I wasn't playing!
• Man's best friend: Your furry companion was one of the best gameplay mechanics of the year, and sooooooo cute!
• The graphics: Very surprised at how good the game looked, especially at sunrise or sunset.

What I disliked about the game

• The story: Very underwhelming and uninteresting.
• The characters: Aside from the dog, I felt no attachment whatsoever to any of them.
• Online co-op: Frustrating and broken more often than not.
• The path you take makes no difference: Even if you kill your wife in front of the townsfolk, follow it up with little dance and everything is forgiven.

The Lowdown

Online co-op sucks plain and simple in the game.  Can't use your own character when joining another person's game pretty much killed what fun the co-op would have if it didn't have other problem also.  I enjoyed my time with it as well and should get back into it once I am done with SR2.

Awesome. I can't wait to dive into Fable 2 now that I'm out of school.

Well Darro, in Lionhead's defense, having your own individual character inside the Fable co-op would have screwed up the world. But yes, Fable was awesome, though you did not finish it. ; )

Haven't played this game since it came out. It doesn't hold your interest at the beginning, and getting back into the swing of things is near impossible. At least I know I'm making mad cash, so when I get back I won't have to work as a bartender for 4 hours.

HEY MAN THIS LIST SUCKS ALREADY PUT GARZ TOO ON NUMBER ONE OR ILL KILL YOU MOTHERFUCKER.

I now have a 360 the strange and interesting thing this is I lost my dog recently he was ill and had to be put down. The dog in the game is done so well that I just could not play it. To  soon I guess. Still im looking forward to the rest of your countdown.

Fable 2 looked sweet...too bad I don't have a 360. can't wait for the next one!

Unlike you, I liked the storyline. My problem with this game was after you played through it there was nothing left to do. The longevity simply wasn't there and I traded it in. :(

I'll be getting Fable 2 at christmas, can't wait to play it.

Also look out for a movie called "The Wrestler". People have said that Micky Rourke is incredible in it. As a wrestling fan, you'd probably appreciate the story more than most casual movie-goers.
