I think the internet is just being loud. I basically agree with Jeff's review - single player boring (except for billboards, etc, which are still a lot of fun to get), multi player great.

Does anyone else have the issue where they keep getting kicked out of autolog like every other event in singleplayer? It's not the biggest deal to log in again, but it's kind of annoying.

Yep.

6.5 hours in. 2.5 of that has been single player, 4 has been multiplayer. The multiplayer is great fun, but the single player is sadly not so hot. So far, the multiplayer isn't quite scratching that Burnout: Paradise itch, though. Not sure if I can put a finger on why yet.

Sandy appears to have totally screwed up the shipment of this game, but I'm Daniel294 when it arrives. Would be happy to play with some GiantBomb duders.

The stat point system in TL2 is so literally upfront with exactly what you get for investing in each stat I don't see a problem with not being able to reallocate points later on. Especially with the way they handle requirements for equipping items with either a level requirement or stat requirement.

Yeah. Because they have an either/or system going on (either this level or these points), you'll be able to use any piece of loot eventually. This makes your stat point choices a lot less important than they were in the original game.

I did my play-through with a Berserker, and invested in Dexterity, Strength, and Vitality in more-or-less equal parts. I beat the game last night, and it seemed to work for me.

I bet you could pick up the game for $10 (or even $5) if you wait until the Steam holiday sale.

Would love a code if somebody could spare one.

From post 9, still looking from one if anybody is kind enough to help out. I don't know if my graphics card is good enough!

If anybody has a guest pass, I would greatly appreciate it. I have a 3 year old thinkpad, which isn't great for games. It did run Torchlight and Super Meat Boy okay, but those are sort of famously not very intensive. I'd just rather not sink the money on something that I don't know works.
