We called it about 3 months ago, and it looks like we were right. IGN's Matt Casamassina is reporting on a rumor that Nintendo may be announcing a slimmed down DS this week. Based on trusted sources, the slim DS will drop the GBA slot and would more than likely retail for sub-$100.
Also in the article is reports on a new peripheral being designed by Activision, that will give the Nintendo DS motion/tilt sensitivity.
Truth? We're not sure but there's a good chance we'll find out tomorrow at the Nintendo Press Conference. Honestly though, why'd they have to make it at 9:00 AM? Blah.
