@Jrinswand: It's pretty much just like achievements. Some peopel like it for bragging points, some people like it because they find unlocking/completing stuff fun. Some people like them because they like a a good puzzle/test.. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but some people do enjoy it.

Dunno. There's sites like Raptr that have no problems with it at all. Plus I see the occasional XBox person reporting similar problems.

It more than likely won't. I've had the problem for months now and there was a thread about it before (I assume it's still around). It stopped for sometime after Portal 2 came out. I removed and readded my account to get it to update (and recognize I S ranked portal 2) and it added all the missing achievements, but hasn't updated since then.

There have been people experiencing the same thing for months now and no Staff comment on it as far as I have seen other than Jeff commenting on the new Team Fortress 2 steam achievement attributing them to the fact they are new.

Stuff will only update if you unsych then resync the account. Will not update at all past that.

Personally I think the Featured part at the top is way too big I can barely see the 1st news story at the bottom there. I think the Featured thing should be just a bit smaller and/or less empty space so I don't have to scroll as far down to get a look at what's happening.
