It seems crazy to me that Konami can eradicate all indications of Kojima's involvement in MGS 5. That seems like something that is specified in a contract that Kojima gets to have his name credited on the box. At isn't that the way they do it in movies, where they negotiate the placement of names etc?
@eternalshades: It really isn't that different from normal from what I remember. Some spots might have an additional guard or two. You have less ammo, but way more than you need considering how much is dropped from guards. I would say bump it up to hard.
I just started a hard game going for a no-kill run. It posts more of a challenge, but I still have plenty of ammo and equipment. I have not found that you take more damage either. If nothing else, the more aggressive enemies and the ammo restrictions makes you have to adapt to the situation more.
I guess it is cool that they are updating the sprites and are adding in a working multiplayer client, but it seems a bit underwhelming. Not including the expansions seems like an oversight. It just does not seem substantial enough, or am I crazy?
While this undoubtably cool, I am not so sure it will cool to actually play it. I guess it hinges on the gameplay being far superior to previous games.
If Ground Zeroes was any indication the gameplay is far superior, not just to the previous Metal Gear games, but every other stealth game.
I have yet to play Ground Zeroes, been waiting for the PC release. The gameplay does look fantastic, but I remain skeptical how well it translates to multiplayer. But Spies vs. Mercs worked, so I guess this can work.
