The Hub quests were probably my least favorite part of the game. Since the Journal was sort of downgraded it made it a lot difficult to realize what you had to do to finish it all up. I had to refer to my Prima Guide on pretty much all of those.

Honestly I think the endings would have been fine if they had not destroyed the Mass Relays, and not made it as difficult for Shepard to live. Also the deal with the Normandy in Slip space needs to be done away with. If the Normandy has to crash land, have it crash land on Earth in the one spot where the Reapers didn't touch as sign of hope. (Yes Bioware you can use the same clip for that and retain a spiritual outlook.) For the choice at the end have the ghost child VI appear and explain the choices, however, Harbinger rebels against his programming and resists the commands of the conduit viewing the VI as obsolete. It then becomes a fight for survival to reach that final choice. For your flashback scenes: Anderson, Joker, most used squad member, and final love Interest. Through all three endings Shepard can live depending on your readiness rating. Red: Shepard wakes up in the wreckage (Standard Shepard lives ending), Blue: Somewhere in the Galaxy a tank opens up to reveal a fully Synthesized Shepard (Chest Shot only), and for Green: In the background show the crashed Normandy then pan down to see a behind shot of Shepard looking out at it.

Honestly I like the green ending, but there is one thing that I don't really care for about it. And that's the fact that you have to die! I believe that the green ending is probably the cannon ending, but honestly could you really see Shepard choosing that? Of course that is just as hard to answer because everyone's Shepard is different.

I actually just beat the game, and honestly I sort of found myself being a little irritated with the choice I made. I chose to destroy the Reapers, and I was going on the thought that I was giving my cycle another chance at life, and a chance to prove the Reapers wrong. Then the Citadel blew up, the Mass Relays blew up, everything blew up! Then I just so happened to think that there are probably a lot of individuals left in the Sol system with no way to get home. Yeah, I should have just went with the synergy ending. :P

The mass relays are destroyed no matter what you do. The 3 ending cutscenes literally only change the color of the explosion and if the Reapers are destroyed then it shows them being destroyed instead of turning blue or green. It's very lazy.

Yeah I sort of figured that out earlier today, when I searched youtube for the other endings. Sure it was lazy, but with that final choice at the end how could you have done it differently. Pretty much the choice was what bullet are you going to use on the reapers. The main reason I think people are mad though is because not only do you die (considering that you didn't get the Shepard lives ending), but you're left with more questions than answers at the end.

I would say Mordin's death affect me the most, but Thane was a close second.

You know honestly after all I went through to get to the point where you reunite with Tali and get that stupid picture, I could have honestly cared less that it was photoshoped. Sure it was a lazy thing to do on Bioware's part, but honestly compared to the entire story overall that picture really doesn't matter.

I had an interesting idea to where I thought we all could share moments from our Mass Effect 3 game sessions when we did something really awesome and rate them. So here's the rule to this little game. Read the post above you and give it a rating of 1 through 10. Then write a paragraph of your own describing your own moment of awesomeness. I'll start it off with this one:

During the Tuchanka: Bomb side mission you have to provide cover fire for Lieutenant Victus from a Cerberus assault while he defuses the Turian bomb. When the last Cerberus shuttle opened it's doors to drop a it's squad I activated my adrenaline rush ability and hit every Cerberus trooper with a head shot and dropped them all before they even stepped out of the shuttle. The best part though is that not a single Cerberus corpse fell out and the shuttle had to shut it's doors with it's squad still on it.

I don't know about anyone else, but I really really dislike the loading screens this time. After just finsishing Mass Effect 2, I never thought I would miss the loading screens. The whole computer generated images of the elevator moving up and down the Normandy, or the sky car going to other parts of the citadel. I think they should have kept those loading screens, instead of the copy paste images with the word loading in the bottom right hand corner like they do in 3.

Also, WTF did they do to my ship!!! They gutted her! Wires are hanging out everywhere for me to trip over. Also we need lights in the CIC to work people! Safety hazard anyone? Also did you really have to take out the Tech Lab and the Armory? really? Why are my collector edition models all over the ship?Oh and to the jerk that thought it would be a good idea to put a bulk head between the bridge of the ship and the rest of it, you're contractors license is officially revoked! Also last but not least "WHO LET OUT MY DAMN HAMSTER!!!"

While on the subject, am I misremembering Mass Effect 2 or did Dr Chakwas get breast implants ?

I wouldn't be surprised, considering what they did to Ashley.

I'm starting to think I'm the only one who's not upset with what they did to Ashley. I consider her new look a central part of the story. When she first shows up in the game she has just came out of a meeting with the Alliance Committee. Most people in the type of occupation Ashley is in tend to try and clean up when going before some form of government. So she let her hair down for the meeting and applied make up. Unfortunately game models probably will never be realistic, because if they were then we would be back to ME 1 Ashley as soon as she hits the battlefield. You can't exactly apply your mascara while getting shot at you know.

I don't know man, I think they just re-designed her so kids could jack off to her. Miniskirts, boob-jobs, let-down hair and botox aren't what I call getting ready for a governmental position.

It really depends how you look at it personally. There is not denying that Bioware redesigned her to have a bigger sex-appeal. It says so in the Art-book when you look at it. When I play the game I choose to focus more on the story. In my opinion I would like to think that Ashley always looked like that if she let her hair down and put make up on; however, if you're looking at it merely from a design to appeal to an audience standpoint then all you are going to see is what you described.

Fair enough! I like to think, in my opinion, story wise, she fell on hard times and took up a job as a porn star, which is the rational reason for her make over in ME3.

Fair enough. :)
