Chie, Yukiko, and Yosuke almost never left my party. I'd rank them all as my favourite, but... seriously, who do you think I'm gonna pick? Chie's magical growth may be pretty dismal - even P3's Junpei got past Maragi if memory serves - but the second Chie learns Power Charge she becomes second only to Charlie in offensive damage potential. Hell, even with just Tarukaja she holds her own for most of the game. She's also faster than just about everyone else, which means even though you've just drained 100HP+ on God Hand you'll have Yukiko coming up later on to heal her right up again before the turn ends, since you'd have to mess up Chie's gear pretty horribly to throw her sequence behind Yukiko's.
Failing all that: Galactic Punt. That should be enough for anyone, especially since it's even works on the optional bosses. Seriously.
I wonder if skill cards will work as pre-fusion items (a la P1 and P2's fusion systems) or if they can be used on any Persona in your inventory/compendium. Either way, it's a great little addition.
What I'd REALLY like to see is a return of Nocturne's demon gifts. I loved getting random freebies from my entourage.
Chie pretty much destroyed the last two bosses single-handedly with the fully charged God Hand on my last run. Probably more than doubled the offensive output of the rest of my party combined. SO awesome.
Shoji's guitar is making me rock out with my Mr. Spock out as usual, but the vocals... I dunno about the vocals, man. Maybe they'll sound better in Engrish, but right now all they're doing is giving me "in-des-tructible!" flashbacks.
I'll Face Myself, The Almighty, A New World Fool, Signs of Love, Backside of the TV, Awakening, Corridor. I'm usually all about the battle themes though, since Shoji Meguro really rocks those going all the way back to Nocturne.
