It sounds like they've hit a low point already, which is a bummer because it... isn't really going to get any better. Vegeta's character only degrades from here and Future Trunks reaches "why is he even there?" levels of inactivity. Dan's right that the Android Saga had an amazing setup, but if it hasn't engaged them so far then I doubt it ever will, and it all goes downhill pretty soon.
One solution to this is to build our own time machine and go back to the only Dragon Ball that really matters! Just kidding, but I honestly feel like they'd get more out of OG Dragon Ball at this point.
@dethfish: Yeah, the original Frieza Saga carried on well into the hundreds. I distincly remember Toonami marathoning it on TV and the Goku vs Frieza fight taking no less than 6 hours to play out.
This QL was a lot of fun and I’m probably going to check this game out because of it, the last thing I want is more of Gran Turismo Sport’s brand of “HAVING FUN MAKES YOU LOOK BAD.”

I would love to listen to Dan and Jeff talk about the Father of Goku special, it's easily the most raw and just plain badass piece of DBZ content in my opinion.
People need to stop acting like any and all criticism of this game is coming from people who JUST CAN'T GET OVER a post-Kojima Metal Gear game. Many of us would actually love to see this new team succeed and make something worthy of the title, I myself am dying for more of what MGSV gave us, on a smaller Ground Zeroes scale if need be.
I was open-minded about Survive, bought it on release and didn't like it, but I'm hopeful the team can do better and you should be too, but that obviously depends on the funding and creative freedom Konami gives them. A non-canon sequel to MGS1 that lets us play as Solid Snake in his prime would be a fanboy wet dream for me, something that Kojima actively denied us of in the past.
@dragooncody: I think Bulma's main purpose during the Namek saga is keeping things grounded to an extent, she's the 'human element'. B) If you took Bulma out then all you'd be left with is an alien planet with ridiculously powerful otherworldly fighters, but since (beyond building the ship to get them there) there isn't much else she can do, she's reduced to a comic relief most people are going to find grating.
