Campaign first, multi-player second. Bungie seem to have been putting more effort in the campaign than they did with Halo 2 & 3.

" @stunningsteve:  Jeff's recap was one of the more blah I've heard. There are a few other podcast's that have been much more glowing. Not to say they are right and Jeff is wrong... its a taste thing. But don't get the impression that most previews have been down on it. One thing Jeff said was directly refuted on the weekend confirmed podcast. Jeff said you don't get a sense of being part of a larger battle, but the guys on the other podcast said there is a scene where you look over a ridge and you see an entire battle raging with troops and ground and air support on both sides. It is totally possible that Jeff just didn't look over that ridge. "
I believe Jeff Gerstmann's credibility is slowly dropping after claiming Modern Warfare 2's as his favorite game of 2009 and the fact he never shuts ups about it in his podcast. I still like Gerstmann, but he does loses some his credibility here and there.

And no, I'm not a anti-COD Halo fanboy. I'm was actually a fan of the COD series. I thought every installment was great (With the exception of the fairly decent 3 and the poorly made 6th generation console version), up until Modern Warfare 2. I hope Treyarch revitalize the series once greatness.

It should be a crime for any PSP owner for not having purchasing these two games.

" As much as I want to say that I hate GT, I still like the hang out in their private forums (known as factions) and talk to a few cool people there. I've been a member there for over trhee years and it's been my go-to gaming site since mid 2007. The ScrewAttact videos are awesome, and I liked blogging there. But truth be told, the user base is really immature to say the least. If it weren't for factions where I can get away from the idiocy of the public forums, I wouldn't be on GT anymore. "
You liked the factions there? I thought they weren't any better than the General Gaming forums. Most of the users I've met from the factions were elitists, stupid people,  fanboys in disguise, haters and a few trolls in disguise.

No, that would describe it's userbase, not the GT crew. I like Shane, despite his lack of knowledge in PC gaming, he's actually an intelligent journalist. He just sucks when it comes to PC gaming.

" I wish the Hide 'Em Up genre would just fucking die already.  Hiding is shit!  You know what's better than hiding?  Not fucking hiding. "
It works well when you're against a platoon of enemies and bullets are barraging every where. It can also make gun fights more tactical, and in my opinion, intense. However, I wish there were more arcadey shooters in the vein of Max Payne back in the day.

" I don't think we should really slam other forums / communities much because it makes you look bad, but GT has the worst community of all.  Love them for trailers, the TV show can be fun too.  Truly, it is the best source for trailers. "
Eh, I'm just poking the community with a stick.

98% of GT's userbase always have free time.
