So first Arkham Asylum somehow beats Dragon Age Origins and now Dark Souls is beating Red Dead Redemption? What lunacy is going on in these forums people!?
It will take a bit of time but the smell will go away on its own, thankfully you aren't dealing with stale wine or something. If I were you i would steam clean the carpet and just put it back in, likely the best thing you can do.
If the laptop works i'd take it, it doesn't take up much space and i'm sure you can find some minor use for it. The imac on the other is pretty large and not going to help you in any meaningful way.
I've been to the US a few times but other then that I haven't left Canada. That being said i've been to pretty much everywhere of interest in Canada between Ontario and the Atlantic. As a student of western history I would absolutely love to visit europe, but I simply don't have the money and don't know when I will.
I have never been to Japan but my cousin taught english there for a year or two. He seemed to really enjoy it when power plants weren't threatening to meltdown, but also said for the most part it was difficult to break the language barrier and as a result mostly associated with other native english speakers.
