I doubt that. The game is already filled with tons of maps and a full singleplayer game. Not enough room.

Actually it has 9 maps, 3 of which I already played the shit out of in the Beta. Not really 'tons'...

I think I got it for upgrading the tranq rifle. It can only be upgraded with reload speed kits so I got it pretty easily.

@DougQuaid: There's a dude selling revolvers? Awesome, will check that out. Decided to do the side mission for Malik first, but at least now I know! You can't carry two 10mm (one upgraded and one not) can you? It just converts to ammo, right? Otherwise I would have knocked out the one armed guy in the brothel/hotel and stolen that.

When I did this part, I had saved right before talking to him. 
 
When he said he wanted a gun to defend himself, all I had was my upgraded 10mm pistol and my upgraded combat rifle and there was no way in hell I was giving either of those to him! So I reloaded my save, went downstars, bought a revolver, and gave that to him instead. 
 
Since you mentioned spoilers, you don't get the gun back. He does make contact while you're on your way to upper Hengsha and he gives you some extra credits for helping him out.

I like to use the apartment as a weapons locker. I almost have 1 of every weapon laying around the joint.

Selling guns in this game is kind of silly, but if you do it right you can make a lot of credits early on. When I kill anyone who drops a gun in Detroit, or any area that has a vendor nearby, I will literally run each gun one by one back to a vendor. By doing them one at a time you won't pick up a gun and have it turn into ammo, which is worth crap compared to the gun. I decided early on I was never going to use shotguns so every time i picked one up off a gang banger in Detroit I would run it back to the vendor for 750 credits. Then I started doing it for other guns. If I already have an upgraded version of the gun, I'll drop it on the ground while I run the crappy one back to the vendor. I also made about 5 trips to the police station to rob the armory one combat rifle at a time.
