*raises hand* Add one to the "tired of Hitman" pile.

(I just spent the past 10 minutes looking for a clip from MASH where Hawkeye starts a chant of "we want something else!", but apparently the IP goons have already nuked that shit from orbit. So you get the idea)

It's weird that this coast-to-coast Quick Look seems to have poor audio quality from the caller, yet the Twilight Struggle one and others sounded fine.

Guys, this was amazing, thank you for covering this.

New content wish: Drew and Austin play this game with 1-2 advisers/dead-weight. The streams are segregated, and two videos are released.

Umph.

Oh, are these guys from Three Fields Entertainment? I couldn't tell, I must have missed the riveting story about how they came up with the name...

Alright, I'm done. I've watched every other Metal Gear Scanlon and loved it, but it's obvious that this game is not going to carry you guys through like the previous ones. It's not really your guys fault, you just tried to use the same formula with a completely different style of game.

The previous games gave you something new to experience every episode. A weird boss fight that you've been building up to in the codex, a new weapon with a custom area designed around that weapon, or some other unique mechanic. Watching Drew work his way through each unique situation was entertaining.

Now though, every episode is the same. Every episode is Drew picking a mission, Dan filling empty air with mostly repeated anecdotes, and both of them missing the mission objectives because of said anecdotes. So then every mission becomes "Drew attempts to stealth at the start, gets caught quickly because he doesn't feel he has the time to engage with the mechanics, so he then blows everything up." I realize that's the basic way they've been playing all of these, but here it seems more egregious. Maybe it's because the previous games' stealth were mid 90's-early 00's clunky, but the stealth in this game is butter smooth.

In the end, the main problem is that they are not engaging with the tapes. The previous series were carried by the codex conversations. They gave Drew a break from the stress of playing a game live, and offered some good fodder for conversation. Now that they aren't doing that at all, I'm just watching two dudes play an action game. I'm out.
