Dead Space 2 has the best combat and pacing (relatively). It's very similar to RE4, The Evil Within, and RE3 Remake in how you're just kinda moving forward constantly. Dead Space 3 was designed for co-op and making use of microtransactions (in a lot of really bad ways). The one plus is that enemies have a sense of weight to them that they didn't in the previous games, in that your weapons need to have real stopping power to be effective. This makes the gunplay both different and enjoyable... when you're not being slammed against the wall repeatedly (once again, the enemy encounters are designed for two players). And honestly, you can easily cheese singleplayer on the higher difficulties with some extremely useful gear combinations.

On that note, I'd love to see Tabby play The Evil Within. Although flawed, it's my favorite third-person horror shooter. It's been so long that I can't even remember what my first playthrough was like.

@jbourne37: Shadows of the Damned is so much worse than you remember. The best bit is probably the obvious Evil Dead reference early on. Do you recall the boring 2D Gradius sections?

If this had been the final Nancy Drew game, it would end with her realizing how the only people who truly believed in her were Ned and her friends. She'd walk away from being a detective, regretfully acknowledging all of the innocents that her antics had unintentionally obstructed. As well as all of the times she'd skated death from the criminals who have tried to outright kill her (and that she still didn't have prosecuted, because she's too compassionate and naive for her own good).

50 years later her gravestone would be shown next to that of her friends and family, stating that by putting all of the mysteries behind her, she'd finally found the one answer, the one thing, that mattered - a life actually worth living. And then she'd return as a ghost and her plucky granddaughter would have to explain why the fuck the series came back only to jump the shark hard.

I used to replay Dead Space's 1-2 (and sometimes 3) once a year but the last time I played Dead Space 1, I got to the part where you have to kinesis the marker and I just remembered how much of a slog those final chapters were. Especially since I usually run through on the harder difficulties, just pure tedium. Nowadays I mostly replay 2 since it has the best combat and pacing.

@steveurkel: The internet knew about something I bought earlier that day in-store at Walmart.

FYI you never really need oxygen (there's always refills around) so you can store the canisters to free up inventory space. Leg day jokes aside, the reality is a bit more complex. Many men only focus on their upper body because they think it's what'll increase their physical attractiveness the most (and the upper body is also VERY responsive to steroids). From what I've read, women are actually quite fond of men with nice butts. Legs can also be much harder to grow because of how picky they are with regards to exercise choice, particularly if you have longer levers (you're really tall with more leg than torso). Protip: If you're built like slenderman, consider doing leg presses, leg curls, and other lower body exercises that aren't necessarily squats and deadlifts. They may end up being much better for your long-term muscle gains. And safer on your lower back too.

The perpetrator will be revealed as her evil half-brother-slash-new archnemesis, Drew Nancy.

I've just completed the remaster because I've always loved the characters. If you turn off vsync in-game and force it using the Nvidia/AMD control panel, it mitigates the camera stutter enough to be playable. The game is still very glitchy (I came across a few gang operations that were not possible to clear out permanently) and the lip sync for the characters comes off unfinished (think animatronic robot jaw movements). Your homies often get in your way (there's a mission where you have to shoot out the tires of a car but not destroy it and Pierce will shoot at/through the car itself with a secondary weapon, likely screwing you; and another where your homie will shoot at enemies crowding you with their incendiary rounds, constantly setting you on fire). And any mission that involves protecting vehicles (even ones you're in) is destined to be terrible since vehicles aren't at all durable. Pro tip: If you have an RPG, don't shoot anything right next to the vehicle you're protecting because it takes splash damage.
