you people in the Giantbomb community talk too much.

about 96% of the way through reading this article's title sentence, i thought they were gonna settle this dispute with an actual in-game Dota battle. that would have been cooler.

Any of you nerds know any good video game documentaries? The history and stuff like that?

So my membership money is gonna go into CBS's pockets now?

I liked funding random Giantbomb Chili cook-offs, now I have to fund some corporate executive's yacht?

I hope those CBS kids make Giantbomb all high tech and 3D and outer space accessible and stuff.

@CraigAA:

I was talking about your "CriagAA1028 presents the Dead Island 360 Review..." intro music. That music sucks.

and if you don't wanna do a gimmick then at least call yourself Craig "The Keg" and put up the tagline: "Tap the Review-Keg and look out! Because here comes awesomeness... to your head!"

that would be so awesome. Anyway good luck with that, dude. Your reviews are pretty dope. I hope somebody pays you for them one day.

well sir,

I think your review was well written, had a good pace, nothing you said was repetitive, it was informative, to the point, subjects were well grouped, you stuck to the facts (by not saying stuff like "I hate this part of the game because I hate milk")

You spoke well, everything you were saying was well represented by the video and the 720p was a fantastic touch. All in alll, very professional.

Criticism:

Your opening music sucks. Your voice sounds really nerdy. Make your voice sound cooler. Like Sam Jackson in Pulp Fiction.

Where's your gimmick? I can get this same review from anyone. Why come to you? The Angry Video Game Nerd has a gimmick. He's angry. You should make some funny jokes like: "You can split a zombie and get more blood than a 13-year-old virgin prostitute." That could be your gimmick.

You know what reviews could use? A pie chart at the end, that represents 2 things: the good and the bad of the game, thus letting us know quickly and visually how much of an impact the flaws of a game have on the game's experience.

I like to look at the developer's track records. There's a website thats like the IMDB of video games. It's an editable database with users updating it all time. You might have heard of it. It's called MobyGames.

I was hoping to see something like a traditional and long RPG but instead of fighting giant spiders, robots, mutants, you're fighting muggers, bums, stray dogs. Instead of leveling up magic, armor, swords, you're leveling up tasers, tire irons, football helmet stats. Instead of joining a Guild, you join the Boyscouts, etc.

But I looked up all of the suggestions and they're all definitely the closest I'm ever gonna get to that. Even if I'm still shooting mini dragons out of my balls to fight in Pokemon, like I said, it's the closest I'm gonna get, so thanks.

So I was bitching about fantasy fatigue in another thread. Wanting to vomit if I see another Elf using a healing potion on his balls, while he's stabbing a Dragon in the balls, next to a Wizard that's shooting lightning out of his balls. When it comes to RPGs, the only other option is Sci-Fi.

Any of you nerdy loser geeks know of any RPGs set in present day? I know Parasite Eve. Some other dudes mentioned Alpha Protocol and Persona. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Ugh. After lookin at those screenshots I think I realized I have Fantasy Fatigue or somethin. If I see another Orc-lookin dude in armor with a sword, I think I'm gonna throw up in my mouth and then swallow it and then throw up again because i swallowed my own throw up.

Know what would be cool? An RPG that takes place in the present. Why the FFFFuck don't those exist?

What if you die before it comes out? That money you spent on it could have been put toward something to make your last few days better.

Like the thought of being able to play Skyrim in the near future!!!
i was just about to write the same thing.
Maybe you should be faster then.
I feel asleep :(

I was gonna write the same thing too. Then I realized I'm not stupid, an asshole or a racist.

This post begs to differ, Adolf.
it sure does.

Oh so I'M the racist now? you're the one who purposely put 13 words in your sentence and typed "future", obviously referencing Space Shuttles and Apollo 13, knowing it was ran by NASA, just so you can brag about the NASA-Nazi connection in 1942. Your propaganda won't work with us, you assholes, because we have a little something called RACIAL HARMONY. you might wanna look that up after your next Klan meeting, assholes.
