I hope Alex tries the new DrumMania arcade, which was rebranded to GITADORA with the combined GuitarFreaks. The newest version is GITADORA NEX+AGE. At least in the US, you might find them in a Round 1 if they're in your area. The interesting difference besides the songs being Japanese is the number of different notes. GITADORA NEX+AGE has a Left Crash Cymbal, HiHat, Left Pedal, Snare, High Tom, Kick Drum, Low Tom, Floor Tom, and Right Crash Cymbal; with the Left Crash, and Left Pedal being new notes from Rock Band. Notably the Ride Cymbal (which RB usually maps to Blue Cymbal) is missing though.

If you really want to get into the weeds, there's an open source app called DTXMania that is based on GITADORA, but also includes support for differentiating between Open or Closed HiHat notes (which RB usually maps the Closed HiHat as Yellow Cymbal and Open HiHat sometimes as Blue Cymbal) and also the Ride Cymbal. You'll have to find dtx songs in the ether of the internet but I like it because it actually uses my entire drum kit.

@heatdrive88: Something I never noticed while playing that song and only after watching that video, because frankly I try to avoid it as much as possible because that song is a slog to play, is that there are no hi hat notes (yellow cymbal). He really just doesn't have a hi hat on his kit, just a ride and crash cymbal. Not completely out of the ordinary but still pretty rare.
