overall i guess im fine with whatever they do , and i give them the benefit of the doubt that they can handle the grieving process without things getting toooo fucked up ... obviously its fucked already , but i meant darker shit , social alienation , drug/alcohol problems etc ... i somehow think theyre above that and mabye its because im a practicly a teetotaler myself, but the amount of alcohol they consume sometimes worries me (and in some aspect has added a darker shade to how i perceive ryans "health choices" (added disclaimer .. im in no way speculating on his death circumstances.. this is a judgement about his lifestyle depicted before that.) )

ramble ramble ramble . . ive been refreshing the main page once every hour or so for the past week and do feel a bit let down , until today when i saw new trailers etc posted by jeff , then instantly felt bad again from guilt blah blah blah ... but yeah .. i would hate for the corporate asshats to start putting the screws on them right now (of course i would expect even the coldest of their cbs bosses to understand their loss,but some idiot economist 6 months from now might not realize why there was such a slump/lack of activity .. and attribute it to a failing site , thus recommending cutbacks etc blah blah .)

on a side note , garnett lee on weekend confirmed was clearly torn up and shared it in the opening segment of their most recent podcast .. was good .. will and norm had a moments silence and some good heartfelt rememberance of ryan on the latest "this is only a test" .. a few others out there like idle thumbs and the geekbox made a short opening mention as well , i found alot of reasons to listen to podcasts that i wouldnt have made time for (or had time for) this week thanks to the clearly widespread respect and love for the man.. FUCK I FEEL SHITTY AGAIN :(

steam sale and the 770 i just bought shoul make do for some retail therapy tho.

id say the sony in this case , since both are about the same (i.e crap for gaming) i would ignore their gaming capabilities and look at other features , in this case the size and resolution of the sony vaio monitor would be better for watching things on , browsing , and also for plugging into tvs etc

smt 3 was the only main-line smt game to NOT have first person battles , and the layout for the dungeons in smt games and persona is pretty much the same in 2d or 3d .. this is clearly a bunch of people wanting smt to be persona , which it has never been ..

imo smt4 looks like they have advanced the formula enough without ruining it completely (are ppl still raging over demon designs?)

both rely on rng pretty heavily to achieve a "good" run , but even with the right items ftl needs more skill

ive used win8 for the good part of a year now and its totally fine and intuitive .. theres no single feature that actually bothers me anymore , i dont use many win8 style apps so iguess its an overall failure to get people to adopt that , but the rest of the os is absolutely fine and much smoother and more responsive than my win7 pc was.

Less than 10second boots to desktop/start screen even a year later , compared to win7 (without major tweaks to increase ssd performance) its handliong my ssds alot better so thats also a major plus.
