@golguin: the uchigatana feels slower than ds1 , but its still the fastest katana in ds2. the manslayer (poison katana) has a really slow swing in comparison , but i still prefer that due to the poison effect and stacking poison bns with dex etc .. (poison uchigatana loses too much scaling for me to want to try it) fuck that blacksteel piece of shit

i found my +10 uchi is a bit weaker than my +10 falchion but the range and moveset helps alot (i basically reserve my falchion for killing crystal lizards with its r2 attack)

the key benefit to katanas seems to be the direct hit system favouring the entire length of their blade , (my falchion has to hit on the tip to get the best damage, uchi can hit on the tip or close to hilt and does the same damage)

also use the black knight halberd when i feel like it, i got the curved dragon greatsword and its kind of a joke

i got swallowed by the covetous demon , it made alllll my gear unequip itself (had to maouver for long enough to equip another weapon , one shot boss fight but it was still fun

@demoskinos: do you want a hinty answer or just striaght directions, try looking carefully for another entrance to his room (not the door near acid pits, thats something else)

or jump into the hole above his room ,its hidden in some tall grass on the ledge before the path up to the boss.

@demoskinos: its complicated, it scales with your fire damage adjustment stat , which in turn is greatly affected by int (but also faith) + the level of the flame istelf ... the dark pyromancy flame scales additionally with hollowing

Also , anybody know what the deal is with the greek states culture pack , its slated for a tba release date in steam as a seperate thing, is this just the actual purchasable dlc for non preorder peopel ? , or do i fkn have to wait x weeks to play some epirus ?
