10 years, and yet it still feels like yesterday. I will always wonder what kind of life you would've had if you were still here. Miss you so much, but also so thankful for everything you did and the impact you left on our lives.

Really strange to think that it's been five years already. I can still remember reading this for the first time like it was yesterday, and all the sorrow that came with it. His passing was hard, and it took a while to move past it. But I'm forever grateful I got to be entertained by Ryan for so many years, and seeing old videos of him on Giant Bomb Infinite and on the site makes it feel like he's still here in a way, and its always great to be reminded of how amazing he was. Ryan has had a significant impact on my life, and I can still feel it to this day.

I didn't listen to too much new music from this year as I would like, but 2017 was a pretty fantastic year for music, lots of good surprises. That new National album is one of their best so far, and I was really shocked by how much I dug the new Paramore album. Wasn't exactly blown away by either Arcade Fire or LCD Soundsystem, but they both had some real standout tracks. The Sufjan Stevens and Daughter albums on this list are a little weird, because they aren't exactly standard "albums" let's say. One is a collection of remixes and B-sides and the other is a soundtrack, but dammit they are so good I'm gonna include them anyway.
