Surprise, surprise! The Dragonball movie didn't suck. I went and saw the movie this afternoon, with the lowest expectations. However, after the 83 minute film my friend and I were very pleased. I don't want to get into the plot, but I see the movie as a different universe. A re-writing of the classic Dragonball story we all know. I know most people will probably disagree, but if you look at it from the point of view I did, you'll probably find some enjoyment in it. It's a silly movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's for the best. Not saying it's a great movie, but surly wasn't the turd I thought it would be. A lot of the original manga is altered, but it's for the best in a live-action movie transition.
