I've been sitting on 17 submissions for two days, and while I'm aware it takes a long time to process all this at the Giantbomb base, it makes me weary or attempting to create a large piece of content.

Vinny came out yesterday night and said the submissions que was a 58 hours for them. Add sleep time of last night and there probably around 66. Give it some time.

Yeah a lot of my submission from day one are still pending. I enjoy doing it so it is hard to stop. 

I'm just not sure about writing anything major. I don't care about changing a genre, or adding a similar game. I'm just afraid of writing a 200 word article it it be buried by other peoples submissions. I completely understand the bomb guys are hard at work, I'm just not pumped about making contributions at this point.

Yeah, same here. I'm really less motivated to write anything right now. I haven't had anything accepted (or denied, for that matter) for a day and a half now.

I know what you mean man! I tried posting a review for Uncharted and it still hasn't showed up yet!

If something gets rejected does it come up as that or just stay at pending. I have stuff approved and then a few stuff pending and then another approved atricle. Unsure if the other stuff will make it as it still says pending?
and how come some guys have blue names, some green and some grey?

I feel exactly the same way at the minute. I started really enthusiastic about the site, but now I'm waiting for the queue to clear to make sure I'm not wasting my time. I wrote a blog post on the subject yesterday.

- I think the coloured usernames represent which company you chose to be a fanboy of in your profile

I added a nice chunk of info to the cake mania page, since it is currently blank...i'm not in that big of a hurry for it to be processed though, as some of my others already have been, so at least I know things are getting through. Like others have said - give it some time.

Yea it just takes time, like everyone else is saying. I'm just lacking in the knowledge department, so that's why I'm not submitting more :D
