I just bought a Wii again somewhat recently which was (rightfully so) baffling to several Gamestop employees. I got rid of my first Wii back in '09 and I knew I wouldn't miss it at all... until a new Zelda came out. So I basically bought another just to play Skyward Sword. Now that I've finished that I doubt I'll ever mess with it again.

Batman and Robin for the SNES. It was the only game I got for Christmas that year which somehow made that game even shittier. I always had great Christmas' as far as gaming goes so that one stands out a lot.

It's not a bad book. Don't skip it and read a wiki instead. Just pay attention and you should be fine.

I've been feeling this way for the last few weeks and, like many others here, it comes in waves. I sweated Arkham Origins when it came out, obtained it, beat it within days, and now I'm back to meh. The thing that's really messing with my head is that I have an opportunity to get a PS4 for Christmas, should I choose to, and I'm not the least bit excited about it.

Agreed. Your points about DLC and patches echo my opinion completely. Frankly I'm super-pessimistic about it getting better with this gen or ever but you never know. I'm glad you pointed out wireless controllers because it's definitely the easiest aspect of last gen to overlook.

Red Dead. You guys are nuts.

Ninja Theory is a fine choice but I'd still like to see Crystal D return to it someday. After what they did with the last Tomb Raider I think they'd knock a new LoK out of the park. As far as other studios go, I think Rocksteady could do the series some serious justice, but they'll probably be doing Batman until the end of time.

The only gripe I can come up with at the moment is the lack of a metal radio station. Plus the cops are really big dicks in this game. But when you think about how Rockstar probably modeled them after the LAPD that fact suddenly makes a lot more sense.
