I played an imperial agent until 38. I really enjoyed the class quests, and did them exclusively as much as I could (with occasional detours on interesting planet quests). Always doing content 3-4 levels above me made for a challenge, and eliminated the grind-y snore fest of on-level content.

But eventually I got to the point where my class quests were 5 levels above me. This is the magical point at which none of your attacks or abilities connect with the enemy. I didn't feel like grinding, so I canceled.

I figure once a boatload of new content gets added, I'll give it another month. At that point, I'll be up for some of the non-class quests and space mission runs to get me back on the story track.

Side note: Rail-shooter-y though the space missions were, I quite enjoyed them. True, they're no X-Wing Alliance, but compare them to WoW's vehicle quests, or even Bioware's previous space sections in KOTOR 1 & 2. They're easy to access, require a low time commitment, and are enjoyable, while offering high xp and cash rewards. Exactly what dailies should be.

My interest was piqued upon reading your review, so I looked about for a couple more reviews (including Ebert, who spoiled the film for me).  I watched the film this evening and really enjoyed it, though now I wish I could have gone into it with fresh eyes.

Thanks for keeping your review on point and spoiler-free.

Despite the headaches involved in being a PC gamer, it's remained my sole platform over the years, since I have yet to find a good strategy game that works as well or better on a console. I know the Total War, Supreme Commander, Dawn of War, C&C, and Civ franchises aren't exactly your cup of tea, Jeff, but they're still going strong, and strategy does seem to be the one genre in which PC gaming has an edge. If the console manufacturers ever figure out an effective way around that ("ALL UNITS"), that will be an interesting day for us.

(One can discuss FPS precision, but I think that comes down to taste. I've stood by the mouse/keyboard setup for my FPSs, but I know many others prefer their COD4 on the console.)

The E3 layout did have the advantage of more "at a glance" information. @MattyFTM, even if you don't have 8 entirely new items of new content over the course of a couple of days, why hide 4 of them behind a flash interface?

And @SpheriQ brings up a good point: the ability to open a new tab directly from the link was a definite bonus to the E3 format.
