This game does a lot of smart things that other survival games haven't done, like the way food is tied to your max health and stamina rather than just ticking your health down when a meter reaches zero, or the way the skill system works. Having a lot of fun building a little outpost with my friends.

When Valorant rolled around, they leaned VERY hard into the similarities with CS:GO in terms of the shooting mechanics (raycast shooting, spray patterns, counter strafing, etc.) and the more intrusive anti cheat being an answer to valves kind of lackluster VAC. If I had to guess, I'd say they peeled more people off of CS than OW, but the vast majority of people I know just kept playing counter strike.
