Your story is pretty wild. If I played Dark Souls in that sequence my head would've exploded.

Thanks! I am going to hold off beating the game for now -at least until the DLC comes out. I am fine tuning my pvp skills in the meantime.

That's funny. I thought I was the only guy that got back stabbed from the front - usually by an axe.

@MideonNViscera: I agree. I am avoiding beating Dark Souls because of the DLC. I am eager to check it out and do not think I'll have the patience to climb back towards it in NG+, should it require some progression to reach it. Any word on how it'll be incorporated into the game?

@CornBREDX: I agree. Grinding rats is the way to go. Just stack your humanity, put on that ring that increases your item find, and get a bunch of homeward bones. From the first bonfire through the pass to the right of the gate which leads to Blight Town you'll hit a bunch of rats. After you reach the end, homeward bone back to the fire and make the run again.

I rarely have less than 50 humanity in my bottomless box.

I did my best farming in the Painted World. You can bank about 100,000 souls in an about an hour. Just remain undead and help others make their boss run. If you're lucky enough, they will have not yet killed the NPC invaded - which will get you tens of thousands of souls. Add a pretty easy boss battle, and you are well on you way to making bank.

I thieved my way through Dark Souls and dug using curved swords. Get yourself a good curved sword and slash your way to victory.

That's weird. I bought the collector's edition and I could've sworn that the developers stated they were not interested in doing DLC, but maybe I am just remembering it wrong. Nonetheless, very excited for more Dark Souls!

I loved Demons Souls. Played it and beat it in about 60 hours. I am loving Dark Souls even more - I am hitting my 80th hour!

Because of its issues, I choose not to buy Skyrim. When it is all said and done, I'll likely just buy the GOTY version whenever that comes out. I just this is all sorted out by then.
