Can't believe this game actually manage to scare the hell out of me...

So I heard about this free game called Cry Of Fear. Now I didn't know much about this game, but when I heard it was survival-horror and using the half life engine. I just had to check it out sense I'm a huge survival-horror fan. Now I went into this game not expecting much, and man was I in for a surprise. This game had me on edge throughout the whole time playing.

The game has a Silent Hill vibe about it. The monsters, music, and the way how the presentation is handled. Makes it feel like an fps style Silent Hill game to me. The scare moments is also something to mention too. Before you least expect it something is going to catch you off guard. Playing this game with my headphones on was a big mistake.

Having monsters appear out of nowhere, creepy ghost girls that made me commit suicide, random screams in dark places that made me jump. After awhile I just had to take off my headphones. At a certain point shit just started getting to me, the more I played the more edgy I got. Makes me ashamed sense its hard to scare me with horror games. Then again it's a good thing that this game has scare factor.

Anyway I'm 5 hours into the game and I'm having a blast. The only few things I dislike about the game is the bugs, and awful voice acting that can ruin the immersion.
