I think the idea of Janina basically delegating the work (maybe for real, maybe as a bit?) is a lot funnier than that opening episode (whether or not that's a bit).
I dunno, maybe there's something to be had here, but it's not grabbing me yet. I like that GB is swinging, but I can't help but wish more of the new stuff was hitting for me.
@sirdesmond: I believe they did explicitly ask people to say so if they thought it sucked, or words to that effect. That's the only reason I made a comment at all.
I guess I'm glad they had a good time making it, but I didn't feel like I was in on a lot of the jokes. Probably just not for me.
Six hours of piss was pretty good, though.
Edit: I guess the way the show was pitched, I was expecting something semi-informative alongside the dunking? I have no attachment (or any real prior knowledge about) Weezer, and I guess I was maybe expecting to be able to come along for the ride despite that? I dunno, might also just be growing pains - I'll give the next however-many a shot, but I can't say I'm jazzed out of the gate.
The composer from Paradise Killer is on a podcast called 2 Good Boys (alongside the lead tester and a Bakalar-style rotating guest chair); it's pretty full-on, but probably the funniest thing I have on rotation. Get it down ye!
Also I would like to humbly request something from the Plok! soundtrack. Some real bangers in there, and some arcane SNES sound chip wizardry to boot.
