@autechresaint: Oh okay. I just assumed there might be the connection since Avalanche and Stålenhage are from swede and the general look of the trailer!
@tevor_the_third: I will first say I am by no means extremely familiar with his art. So saying it is "all over" might have been an overstatement by me, it might be more specifically the visuals this trailer aims for and how it uses a similar framing (low angles, looking at backs of young people looking at something strange, and general distance from the subjects is pretty similar to how stålenhag's art is framed). Also the combo 80's, robots & kids/teenagers to a Swedish setting is not that common visual to see in games or media so my mind instantly drifted to stålenhage's work, but had this game been set in an american environment I might not have been that quick to make the connection with his art. But still, the contents of the trailer I feel show some clear inspirations to his art. I'd have a hard time believing his artwork has not part of the look their aiming for. Just some examples of his art that the trailer made felt similar | too. But whether or not is "too" similar for him not to be involved I can't say at all or judge (especially not by just an announcement trailer), some games wear their influences clearly on their sleeves! Still interested to see more of this, always love being able to see games that portray Sweden.
Always a little bit extra neat to see a game on GB from ones hometown (this case being Gothenburg, Sweden)! The word "Fe" means fairy in Swedish if people were perplexed by the short name. Also the voice artist behind the woodland creatures is by a great local artist named Kristina Issa who's music you can hear here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8rRgYJNjKM
@indigodays: Ah totally missed that - thanks for pointing it out. Was gonna guess the developers might be Canadians since both clipping. and BBNG are based out of there but no, they're Russian! Also: https://twitter.com/clppng/status/771775387764338688
