Hey guys, what's up? Some time ago, I had an interview with a local Target store about an open position at the electronics department. It's Sunday as I type this, and the interview was a week ago last Wednesday.   
I don't think I got it. If I did, I probably would have heard by now. This is crushing, I would at least thought I would be given the courtesy of a phone call.  
So, naturally, I've been playing some video games to get this off of my mind. I've gotten into Hydro Thunder Hurricane recently, and it's worth the hype, IMHO. My question is, when things are going bad, what kind of video game do you end up playing? Something easy? Something engrossing? I'd like to know, some suggestions would be welcome as I try to get this off of my mind and move on.

I settle down into a long session of Geometry Wars. Too simple to have to think about, but too challenging to focus about anything else. Oh, and I crack open a bottle o' booze. 
 
Anyway, sorry you didn't get the job, but let me assure you of one thing: working retail suuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

I applied for my current job about 2 months or more before I heard back. In fact I had forgotten I applied. That was 4 years ago and other then that little speed hump I am still going strong so maybe there is some hope you'll get it yet. But it would be nice if they would give you some feedback.

If it helps, I just set up an appointment for an interview with a local McDonalds for this week. The people there are nice, and there will be promotional opportunities, so this should work out.
