So this happens with other games also? Have you disabled the 5.1 audio output in the PS3 audio settings? Because that might screw up the audio mixing. Also check all the cables that they are plugged in propely.
Usually when i play DS i choose if my characters main weapon skill is STR or AGI, because it is usually wise to concentrate on one or another and then choose if i want to have supporting skill like INT or Faith.

If you can get that thing equipped and level your DEX up to 40 (Because Mura scales on it.) you are gonna be wasting demons and invader fools in no time.
Yeah i have been thinking about getting, because it feels like all the Vita games i get on PS+ is going to waste. Also the PS4 pairing and remote play have made it even more tempting.
Usually i like to buy my console games as a physical copies, but this gen i have bought some games as digital downloads, when the price has been much lower than buying it at retail. The reason is same as @bishop113 said, that eventually the consoles are gonna get phased out and the online stores are gonna get closed, so at least i have the physical copies to throw in and play, if i want to plug in this gen consoles for some gaming long after they have been phased out.
@blacklagoon: Yeah i hope so, because the game looked pretty fun. I hope games next-gen doesn't throw out split-screen completely, because this looks like a fun couch co-op game.
I found out about it by playing the Darkness and i liked how the Capt Midnight sounded like, so i decided to listen some more of it. After listening couple of albums, i felt like this: Mike Patton is awesome, but this music is meh.
