I had a look of absolute befuddlement for most of the negative animal crossing talk. The only thing that I find even slightly annoying is the tool durability. I am the most anti minmax guy there is and I don't feel any pressure to do that whatsoever. I have put in about an hour each day, and have comfortably completed each big task. I don't understand the people who feel the need to dupe items or go to someone's island for turnip stuff. This is a game you're meant to play in small chunks over a long period of time. Feverishly unlocking everything and amassing bells in a short amount of time misses the point.
Man, this game is so incredible. I should really play it again before the sequel gets too close.
I wonder what my biggest missed game shame is. I've never played a Halo for more than a couple hours, but that was just a product of my console choices.
It's funny that all the people who prep and hoard do it because they're worried about other people doing the same. Snake eating its own tail.
We're staying inside to slow the spread of a virus. It's not the end of the world. All of your utilities will stay on. The effects on the economy are what they are, and they will pass.
I didn't play Nioh until the last few months but thoroughly enjoyed it. The loot system and cost to upgrade stuff wasn't great, but even with limited enemy variety I stuck with it to the end. I'm not sure I can jump right in to this without some fatigue, so I'll circle back around to it after the onslaught of the next few months. Really looking forward to it.
This was a thing maybe Sony shouldn't have streamed. It's interesting information, but none of it will satiate the angry troll mob. This also didn't lend itself well to being talked over.
Oh boy. 20 mins in and I hope he learns the gun mechanic. A lot of mechanics, actually. Chat did Jan dirty not telling someone who has never played a souls game to pick saw cleaver.
I can't imagine coming into this game with zero souls experience. If this were to become a series, a wisened Brad would be a good accompaniment. Metal Gear Scanlon vibes.
@sloppydetective: unless you somehow have an unconventional and special way of interpreting punctuation and grammaer, a professional narrator will read it exactly the same as you would.
People can absolutely play whatever they want however much they want, but saying stuff like who has time to play a single player game multiple times while doing the same thing over and over again for hundreds of hours in a multiplayer game always confuses me. I don't really replay games to get different endings, but I'll new game plus a Sekiro or something here and there. The only things with static content I'll replay are things I put in my all-timers list. To that end, I've been getting the itch to play Nier: Automata again, but with so many things coming out that'll have to wait quite a while.
It's great to have the coasts together on podcasts. Too bad Alex wasn't around for most of it.
It sucks, but I don't really think we're going to see much Nioh 2 on this site. Jason doesn't seem to have a whole lot of time for long single player stuff now. Brad seems like someone who could be into it but clearly he is a Doom guy.
I've exclusively consumed Sanderson novels via audible and the narrators are so incredibly good (particularly Michael Kramer's incredible range of accents and voices) that I can't imagine just reading it.
