Interesting moments seen in Fallout Vegas

Will be updating this as playing it, with the perk of the wild west taken things should get rather bizarre.

*on way to a town for fixing the bot companion, ran into some wandering traders going the same way. Started to follow them until running into a conflict of NCR & the Legion fighting it out. Looted the losers since I was neutral/friendly with both sides, sold just about all of the legion stuff (who lost) to the wandering merchants. Then a short time later the 1 mercenary with the wandering traders was killed by a wild dog, looted & sold that person's stuff also. Then the wandering traders died at the hands of the legion still wandering around so after looting those corpses I was quite well off at least for a level6 wanderer.

On a new playthrough that happened nott en minutes ago, I was walking from the trap "girlfriend" back to town when I noticed the dramatic music cue, so i casually turned around to see a small scorpion.  I don't think it's anything.  Then it gets closer and I pull up vats.  It's a giant scorpion.  I'm at level 2.  I have a laser pistol and a 10mm.  I run hard and fast back to the Prospectors Saloon, fortunatly found Cobb and the Lady there.  Got Cobb to leave, waited, when outside, then 4 people and a dog whooped on the Giant Rapscorpion that had followed me there (I barely made it back with less than 20% health).  Cobb "tragically" died in the scuffle.  So I looted his stuff and carried on with what I was doing.

Moral of the story:  Powder Gangers make for GREAT tanks.  Or fodder.  Whichever.

Laying down a bunch of mines in Silver Rush then taking Cass in there and having everyone turn on you/explode. Speaking of radscorpions, I thought it was pretty cool how they flank you in the southern desert. And by cool I mean annoying as shit.

First vault I went into with the Sacrificial chamber might be one of my favorite moments in gaming ever.

I heard the music cue, and I found a skeleton in a refrigerator.  It had a nice hat :)

I saw a bunch of powder gang dudes out in the distance around a house. One of them leaned on one of the beams while smoking a cigarette. I had a silenced sniper and was pretty far away from the place so I decided to shoot the guy leaning on the beam.

Then one of the dudes next to him went and leaned on the same beam while the dead guy rested neatly beside him.

This went on until there were about 5 dead guys laying on each other on a porch in the middle of nowhere

I honestly can't wait for Mart's Mutant Mod to create some crazy incedental moments my second playthrough. Even if it just means the quarry junction deathclaws kill everybody in the Mojave.

After my first time playing through the game i decided to go with a 10 str/ 10 end/ 1 int character to just pound things with.  I named him Mungo.
Mungo is actually a likable guy. Quite friendly but unaware of his own strength. Mungo does try to be nice to everyone he meets but when people are rude or mean to Mungo he lets them know with his fists.
A simple insult or a slight remark usually ends up with a corpse and a lot of angry settlers.
The first death was when Mungo went to go talk to Ringo. Ringo pulled a gun on Mungo without even saying hello, which instantly spurred Mungo to beat him into a chunky salsa substance. Good Springs was not happy with Mungo because Mungo did bad. Mungo moved on to Primm to let the couriers know that Mungo did bad and lost the delivery.
During his treck Mungo encountered these cute little geckos. They played rough but it was ok because so did Mungo. After a while the geckos must have gotten tired because they stopped moving so Mungo continued his journey to Primm.
When he got to Primm the same dressed men told him that bad men had taken over Primm. Mungo decided it best to move on because he didn't like bad men. Mungo continued down the road to Nipton.
Mungo congratulated the young man who had just won the lottery as he entered the town. Mungo wished he had one because he was low on caps and low on Sarsparilla. Continuing on a group of very funny dressed men and some mean looking dogs stopped Mungo to tell them of all the bad things they did to the people of Nipton. Mungo got very mad at this and uppercutted the man with the wolf head so hard that his head came off. His other friends didn't like that and they attacked Mungo but they soon were uppercutted as well.
The last man ran away, he didn't want to play with Mungo but he wasn't fast enough and Mungo played with him for a long time...

Oh good, they're recycling old Family Guy style "that's the thing from the thing" jokes they used back when they were Black Isle.

In Nipton (if I recall the name right) there's a few well known skeletons to the building not far from the main assembly hall at the right. Too bad I'm on the 360 with this game otherwise could have gotten screenshot of it.

Also found recently two little bizarre moments:
Vault 11 & Happy trails movie (seen when you find the way to unlock the overseer computer)
The robot found in Freeside simply called Fisto

Just FYI if you want to keep Ed-e & not lose it like I did (guessing the achievement is safe though as it's just recruiting the companions not keeping them alive at once), here's what happened resulting in some crazy thing that could be a bug in the game.

Got the quest from the Silver Rush guard about bringing Cass to that casino but had Ed-e & Veronica with me. Told Veronica & Ed-e it's time to part ways and for them to meet me at the Lucky 38 casino. Got Cass after dealing with that quest earlier, talked to her to get that companion quest starting & went to the caravan sites that were hit (recommended as there's some good armor/weapons at the last one) then went to the Freeside gates where it all went weird. As running through Freeside I see an eyebot fly by, turns out it's Ed-e. When I get to the gate bordering the strip & the 38 casino I see Ed-e shooting the upgraded laser (after finishing that companion quest) at the robot guards. Tried talking to it & wouldn't register so I went about my business sorting loot at the 38 Casino, left out that same gate to find 2 of the robot guards dead along with Ed-e.

Also another strange bug, if you have the classic DLC pack with the vault canteen & weathered 10mm pistol, there's a missing art asset I'm guessing, because once I put the 10mm pistol laser scope on it, when zooming out to see the character in 3rd person I have a floating ghostly 3`x3` red square with a white exclaimation point cutting through the middle of the character.

One interesting point that's a bit subtle is somewhere a bit west of Primm, there's one area with a bit of wreckage & a few graves nearby. But what's interesting is the writing on some of the wreckage where it's talking about the courier & a few things that might have happened in conjunction with the loot found & skeletons. Overall as your history before the game is a bit foggy, this is interesting bit of history on what you might have done beforehand. Makes me wonder what other pieces are like this as I'm just wandering around getting the one achievement of exploring tons of locations.
