Nice to hear this. As for the new MST3k I too was in some doubts & the first one is quite rough (along with some of the guest spots like Seinfeld showing up on one quick bit), after a few episodes I'm still not used to the voice on Tom though it's fairly good with fun moments in it. Now that Gypsy has more of a role in it & different voice, she has more comedy moments in the show. Definitely could have been better as anything can be when relaunching it, best thing is to start with the 2nd-3rd one then maybe later go into watching the 1st one to just see it once.

Got this as Xbox Live has a sale going on for a few days with this & many other games a part of that sale. Very fun for a lighthearted exploration/adventure game & enjoying finding random tools/gear or kits to build over the gold bricks. Found the best thing to do with the underwater ones is to flatten the ground to the level of the water, change it to one thing like mud, (if the chest doesn't appear at the top of the flattened ground), use the jackhammer to drill down as you can't drill through the chest you'll stop there, then if I want to get rid of the chest replace the mud texture with water or just leave it there.

Need a better way in the map to figure out the beacon lights, most of the time like here in the QL where you give people something you will either get a gold brick, some plans to make something or you will get some random item. The random items are either tools to use like the jackhammer or a gun or it's something like a carrot or gem you then give to a character or animal to unlock it (so you can copy it for later quests or change your appearance).

I'd also enjoy seeing Vinny try more of this one out more to see what kinds of fun things there are to try out.

Things might have changed in the game since this GB video but I did find a one from a pair of funny guys in Iceland who wind up playing the games & saving the brokenest parts for their channel.

Been looking into getting this game for a while & with the video from BirgirPall below, there are some spots with the multiplayer & also more of the vehicle stuff.

Seems like that aside from getting lucky with Borderlands, this & most of the other recent stuff from Gearbox just doesn't seem that great. I enjoyed Bulletstorm & might get this newer version for the dry times when wanting some game to play when nothing new is out for the Xbox One though after seeing this I'm not going to touch the lackluster stuff in it with Duke Nukem that feels thrown in at the last minute.

The attached video of striking a T pose in the review is just beyond the fathoms of bad on how bugged it is. If still doing QA testing work on games, I would have wrote down voice acting sounds good with no breaks in levels but everything else gets listed on broken as hell & very very bad on the list of bugs it's filed in on what's not working.

Great review Brad & hopefully this review saves some people money & time on buying this nice looking environments yet train wreck of a game with good combat.

Game looks amazing at capturing that 1970's sci-fi look to it. After seeing some of the quick look, sold on getting this game.

Found on the main Neogaf thread on this game & wondering if this is what the people making this game were doing the whole time...drinking.

Curious to hear more of Andromeda to see if it's as much of a wreck as early parts of the game make it look.

Also fun mega Japan trip tips. :)

After giving up on #3 (stupid boss fight on a mesa), and the multiplayer in that and this one, I really wasn't too interested. Looking at the visuals & exploration kinda makes me want to try it but so much of the design, writing & what got approved to make it this much of a train wreck would make me gladly get into something like Wildlands, Far Cry Primal or Recore even before this.

Fun tip for those playing & if it hasn't been patched, in the dialogue choices (seen in a few other videos I've seen for this game), just sit there & watch the animation loops for a few minutes. A few of the early ones where the guy doing the video gameplay just let it sit there & the loop of character faces made is amazingly WTF is going on. Big thanks to GB crew, between this and the stream saved me $60, might rent this at some point for a week but that will be all I put in on Andromeduh. As bad as the game looks on a disappointment level, I do want to see some of the highlights though not in any rush now.
