Ya'll are reading way too much into this. It's a patriotic theme leading up to July 4th when we celebrate independence, which has nothing to do with the current government. Poor politics or administration don't mean we're going to suddenly stop celebrating an historical American holiday. It's a lighthearted theme.
If it upsets you because of the current state of the country, don't watch. They're not making political statements.
Anyway, just because bigots use patriotic symbolism vocally for their agenda doesn't mean that's patriotism can't be used to celebrate the proper ideals of this country.
This is the correct way to look at it. GB has spoken about their dislike of the current administration and state of affairs in the country. You can still be patriotic about your country while despising those in charge. It was a goofy video with nothing out-of-line said in the slightest.
RELEASE THE ZELDA CONTRARIANS!!!! It's Bioshock Infinite all over again.
I have to finish both, but I fell off of this waaaay before I did (hopefully temporarily) with BotW.
Never forget everythting is a competition, and you can never like/love two things at the same time.
I think (at least with this specific situation) it's because Horizon cannot get mentioned without the caveat of "it got Zelda'd" as if people bounced off of this because they preferred Zelda. That's at least the way almost every GB member talks about it. The "competition" is almost baked in at the get-go - it's not just "zeldra contrarians" that see it that way.
Would it be a good idea for them to bring one new recruit with them on each mission, just to level them up? They keep buying soldiers (Tim Turi, Donna Tello, Song Bros) but then doing nothing with them. If their main dudes get killed, they will be screwed if they have not leveled up new soldiers along the way.
It's an honest question since I've never played an xcom game.
Man watching Ben run around aimlessly in a world that takes all of 30 to 60 minutes to beat, is painful. But that could just be the 14 year old me talking.
its because the game is bad
If you say it, it must be true. I guess i was wrong for all the fun i had with this game.
I really have a soft spot for this game. Is not my favorite game in the series. the title goes to KH2. As kid loved both Final Fantasy and Disney movies and getting to playthrough a Cliffsnote's version of the those movies was awesome to me.I know I have played this game at least 5 times on different difficulties. The only really problem i have with this game in particular, is its platforming. Even that is largely negated by just getting a feel for it. I cant really speak much on this game's level design, as I have played to this game to the point where I have it all memorized. Now its hard for me to get a prospective of someone who doesn't know them.
But you said its bad, so i guess it can't like it anymore.
Who said you can't like bad games? You're perfectly free to enjoy bad games like this.
