Really though, I don't think they would be dumb enough to put out MW2 all over again. I also think you people are pretty shallow if you think that just because this game is in modern times, that makes it CoD. CoD didn't invent modern warfare, so to speak, and I believe that they can make this one different enough to entertain.

I don't know man, it seems like there are a TON of hardcore fans of CoD and Halo, so as long as they keep buying the new stuff they milk it all they want. The only example I can think of as being milked was CoD World at War. That game was pretty lame, but everything else seems adequate.

1. Halo 3 (Screw you guys, Halo is my thing)
2. Oblivion
3. Bioshock
4. ODST (Again, screw you guys)
5. Tales of Phantasia (NES, not GBA)

Well I don't mind all this avatar stuff, really, but this is all effort that could be spent on something I would actually want. Like ironing out their crappy customer service for one thing...

But until then i'll be happy with "Avatar Marketplace"

All the gold plating in the world couldn't make me buy a---

Well, actually, i'll have to reconsider that. Still, a gold plated NES, that would be cooler still. Just to top you, of course.

Well, my title pretty much set up my mindset, so i'll just spit it.

I was playing a little 1 vs. 100 on XBL tonight, and it kind of set off a crazy glimpse into the future for me. In my personal opinion, the whole format for 1 vs. 100 is what we're starting to see and will be seeing a lot more of, especially when Natal is released. I foresee shiny, wii-like graphics on interfaces and avatars doing strange things with no regard to their personal image on many more applications soon to come. If you haven't seen 1 vs. 100, I advise to take a look, so we're all on the same page here. I don't know about you, but I didn't buy a 360 for it to gradually become a Wii. Admittedly, the motion-controller for 360 looks a lot better and more refined, but that's only because they don't want to copy the Wii exactly, isn't it?

I'm not trying to diss any Natal developers, and i'm sure they've put in a lot of effort. All i'm talking about are the core elements here. In any case, I didn't mean for this to be another post about Natal, but actually about the shiny, avatar-toting graphics of what seems to be what XBL is moving towards. I just kind of find the whole thing irrelevant to the gaming experience I was hoping to buy into.

Anywho, am I missing something, or is it just that Microsoft wants us to be sucked into the whole avatar-fueled, community-interacted, shiny-graphic-ed idea? That sentence didn't really turn into what I wanted, but that's basically what i'm trying to get across.

Well, my sister is all OCD and such, and so for some reason she hates the number "5". So she started calling it Fripple, for what reason I do not recall. In any case, neither of us were aware that it may be interpreted as "Frozen Nipple" but now that I know, all the cooler. The "Bubby" part was from when I was very, very young. I had a stuffed rabbit, and because I could not yet say the word "bunny" I said "Bubby" and the name stuck. Combined I became Fripplebubby.

 1. Whose worse about release dates Valve or Blizzard? (not counting L4D2)

Meh. I can deal with bad release dates as long as the game actually comes out while i'm still alive. There are a thousand other good and decent games coming from other devs so i've never really put much thought into this kind of thing. Yeah, that's not really an answer, but I really don't have an answer.

2. Which developer has lagged behind the most during this generation in continuing to turn out good quality products?

Sega. They used to be amazing, but after they stopped making consoles it's been tough.

 3. Following the release of Mass Effect 2 and Star Wars the Old Republic, will Bioware's name be lifted into the top 5 developing companys, or is it already??

*Companies* is how that word is spelled. In my opinion, Bioware deals with a limited audience, and even though that audience is pretty abundant on Giantbomb, I don't think they are quite as popular as Infinity Ward or Bungie or even Valve. I guess they could earn a 5 spot, but I really don't think it's a sure deal.

4. Who is the developer of this generation?

Bethesda would be, if they didn't keep publishing games that are the opposite of what you would want them to be. Still, the games they actually developed are pretty dang good, and I think they get that top spot.

Guys, i'm not saying download it because you won't get caught. It is still illegal, and if anyone cared to catch you, you could be sued.

Edit: Not Th3_James
I didn't mean for that post to come after yours
