Something else I'm excited about but can't find a page for is the simultaneous release of Smash Bros. 4 on the Wii U and 3DS.

Saints Row 2 was one of the most fun co-op games ever made. It was also hindered by an immense amount of terrible glitches that would sometimes render the game nearly unplayable. Saints Row: The Third looks to have a lot more money behind it though, and a lot more people working to make sure that things like that aren't around to hinder the fun this time. They've also realized what made the franchise so fun to begin with and made it what may be the most over the top game ever made. The motto seems to be, if it's something you've ever thought you'd like to do in a sandbox game, you can do it.

SSX3 is one of my favorite games of all time and the best snowboarding game ever made. I played it for hours on end and can still pick it up today and have a blast. Even though there were a few SSX games after 3 none of them quite captured the same spirit. 8 years or so later EA is finally getting there shit together and giving the series the treatment it deserves again. I really hope I'm not disappointed.

I never liked Tomb Raider. It was mainly because of Lara herself. She seemed like a bland stereotypical "tough girl". It's nice to see them add a little bit of vulnerability and humanity to the character. And don't even get me started on the gameplay. Metal Gear Solid 3 meets Silent Hill? I'm sold.

Final Fantasy XIII sucked. It had a lot of potential though. The world itself, some of the characters, and the battle system (though a little limiting) were all really good. It's too bad that the story was iffy, certain characters were insufferably annoying, and all you ever did outside of battle was walk in a straight line. I'm not entirely sure but from the trailer it looks like they fixed every single one of these things. Here's hoping.

I'm aware this doesn't look very different than any other Animal Crossing games, but it's doing a lot of small things that just seem like the logical progression for the series. More of the same isn't always bad if you like what came first.

I'm not entirely sure anyone asked for this crossover. At the same time I'm not entirely sure anyone's complaining.

This game just looks Utterly insane. I'm not entirely sure what to say about other than I really want to get my hands on it.

If you'd asked me about the game this time last year I would have told you Zelda was dead and I didn't give a damn about Skyward Sword. However it looks like Nintendo realizes what made Twilight Princess suck and are taking steps to correct it. So, what can I say, the Zelda fan in me is happy again.

The thing about Resident Evil 5 is that it was in no way scary. It was barely even startling. This game however actually looks, dare I say, scary? I could be wrong, but the trailer gave me that impression at any rate.

I was a little iffy about this game until I saw that street boarding is back. Fuck yeah street boarding.

4 player co-op, over the top gunplay, witty sense of humor? I'm in.

Ninja Gaiden with the difficulty tuned down a bit might not be such a bad thing ya know.

Honestly this looks like a pretty basic Kirby Game. The co-op is what really sold me though.

To be honest I wasn't looking forward to this game at all. And then I saw the trailer, and I remembered why people like Frank better than Chuck, he has a great sense of humor. I won't pay full price just to play Dead Rising 2 again, but if it's something around $30 I might give it a shot.
