@flashflood_29: It's not trolling. As far as I'm concerned it's trolling when they're asking for help but refusing to actually acknowledge the advice. They're saying "I know it's not the sensor because I don't think it can be and that's that" not "I know its not the sensor because i tried your incredibly quick and easy suggestion and it didn't work" which a) puts it to rest immediately b) acknowledges the efforts of the 3 people took the time to reply with advice
Beyond that they've withheld vital information (I have 4 of these mice that do it in the exact same situation, they don't do it in others, I put the mouse on a usb extension cable and it's not doing it) and dismissed genuine advice with "I'm not an idiot"
I have limited knowledge of typical hardware level bluetooth interfaces and it's really not likely to lose such limited and specific communication between the two. As a generic usb interface its surely one BT data stream. All or nothing, when it comes to drop-outs. It being intermittent but growing increasingly common over time just doesn't scream "hardware issue" or "local radio interference" either.
Burnout Paradise is the best burnout game and if you disagree you aren't literally me, with all my tastes and emotions and life experiences that combine to dictate what appeals to me thematically and mechanically.
Now you're getting genuinely angsty at suggestions.
I'm not kidding dude, a hair will statically cling to your little sensor lens and get temporarily dislodged by movement (and the removal of an electrostatic source) like flipping your mouse over to lever out the battery.
It's literally as easy as saying "I puckered up and blasted that little hole with my mouth winds when it started acting up just now and it didn't work thanks though guys".
Also you could have done the other things suggested by this thread by now but no you're mad that anyone suggested the first and most obvious answer that you didn't rule out in your question.
@isomeri@gamehaver@alistercat So, I appreciate the suggestions that it is something in the optical lens. However, last time I checked, it was not possible to clean out an optical lens by popping out the battery and re-inserting it.
if you're reading this you've already got the hair out of your mouse! congratulations. for future reference a cool way to get technical help with anything is to list all the troubleshooting solutions you've already tried, in detail
