We used to play Big Man Japan and Kung Fu Hustle when we'd close up the Blockbuster I worked at. Just a bunch of high school kids cackling at incredible bizarre movies.
100% Get where Jeff is at. I don't understand what the actual criteria for this is at all. World building always seemed like a reference to the content of a game creating a setting via visual and micro narrative, not the actual construction of a 3d space. Like my best world example would be Dark Souls. Best story feels like the actual narrative that anyone who plays the game regardless of time invested or dedication to studying is going to experience. I don't know. Kill this category guys, it's way to broad and could be cut into other more specific categories.
Just something to consider. Not all people who vape are jerks (and of course the jerks that vape want all the attention). I don't even do it inside (except at home) because I don't want to bother anyone, I typically walk to a smoking area. Glad this guy was cool about it and also I can't wait for Wolfenstein. It's the only game this e3 that has me hyped.
@bocckob: The way they justify him calling is actually a nice touch. He gets a radio early in the game and if you look close at the character model he has a little earpiece with a cable running down the back of his shirt.
This is a surprisingly good game. It has flaws, but at this point I just expect that out of Omega. Could see them spinning this off into something great if they're allowed some liberties with the license.
Look. This game has problems. I'll admit that readily. However I wouldn't use this as a gauge for whether this game is for you. There is a lot more going on in this game than what's on display in this ql. I've got around 4 hours in it and I'm not nearly as cynical on this. I may not ever be a fan of this game as it still has a long long way to go, but there's some clever stuff and some of the random elements are cool. (My access to the next area had nothing to do with honey tolls or a joy detector)
As much as I want a new fighting game to sink my teeth into, I judge my fighting games on roster more than anything. There just aren't enough characters here. It makes me want to wait for the ultra super edition that will inevitably be out at some point when all the dlc characters are available.
