Really miss turn-based strategy (Civ, Total War etc.) and grand strategy (CK2, EU4 etc.) on this list.

@brackstone: She'll just have a magic-baby with him that inherits, while she dies in childbirth/fighting the Night King. Don't you worry.

@ripelivejam: Funny thing is that the writers seem to assume that the viewers have forgotten that Aegon was the name of the baby that supposedly got its head smashed in.
Kind of saying: "We assume the viewers are plebs that don't pick up such details".

If book-Aegon is a fake/red-herring I don't quite understand what they just did to Jon with giving him that name. If he's real I wonder why they made the decision to fuse these characters (assuming they did). Another wierd thing is that book-Aegon had the backing of the Golden Company, which show-Cersei is now hiring to backstab Team Allies-in-the-North, making me wonder what's going to happen in the books with the Golden Company and all...

@livingonline8: She will still have a magic-baby with Jon that will wound up on the Iron Throne. Another reason why they had to spell it out every scene they spoke that she "couldn't have children".

Cersei's baby is doomed to be a stillborn after the Maggy prophecy.

In the books it's heavily implied that the white walkers found an artifact called 'the horn of winter', which will break the wall if it's blown. Book-Euron also got a horn, whose wielder is supposed to control the dragons. The true nature of these artifacts haven't really been revealed yet tho.

I'm laughing a little inside as this entire season has turned super-predictable. The only thing to ruin it even more is if Bran has to become the new Night King after they defeat him so that he can control the white walkers or what not; a photo has been circling around with that symbol on the Night King's chest, being on Bran's chest as well. If they do this they are basically making him into Bolvar Fordragon from World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. That would be hilarious.

The only reasonable thing I see with Benjen not jumping along is that: (1) He's supposed to die, and: (2) They didn't want to make another longer scene that episode to depict this death. I figure that the entire 'quest beyond the wall'-part will take part during several chapters in the hypothetical book, instead of the duration of just an episode. And if Jon is somehow rescued by Benjen in this hypothetical book, they would probably ride for a bit over a chapter or two, exchanging some words and avoiding ambushes, ending with Benjen dying to sacrificing himself in a more dramatic way to save Jon. This showing up 'deus ex machina'-style, and just saying: "No time, go" is just getting old.

I don't think Tywin's arrival at King's Landing is wierd. It's a a great battle and a siege, and not a small skirmish. Tywin's last known position in the show was at Harrenhal, which isn't far from King's Landing. In the books Tywin rides west since Robb Stark is threatening the westernlands. I don't remember if Tywin rode west in the show, but it doesn't really matter since the riverlands, westernlands and King's Landing is in reasonable short distance of eachother. So that the Tyrell+Lannister armies arrived at the Battle of the Blackwater somewhat late into the battle. Without playing the numbers' game it doesn't really seems off that the garrison in KL, as well as the City Guard could hold off a siege for a time, even if vastly outnumbered, until reinforcement arrived.

In other words; Tywin's arrival isn't really comparable to the Knights of the Vale's arrival at the Battle of the Bastards, or the ravens acting like an instant-messenger app or tactical jet-bomber dragons. Going from the Vale to the North is like half the continent, and there's only two possible routes; (1) through Moat Cailin, or: (2) the sea way to White Harbor. Still assuming that the Frey armies are still around (which they are) and that the Boltons control Moat Cailin (which they are) at the time of the Battle of the Bastards, the land-route isn't an option for the Vale. The show wiki seems to suggest that the Mandarlys of White Harbor joined team Bolton, but remained neutral during the Battle of the Bastards, hypothetically opening the sea-route for the Vale forces. Still, if they took the sea-route, it's a little too convenient that the came in time for the battle since it was mostly armies head-on each other (which would be finished in hours at most).

But hey whatever... I still enjoy this show in general, along with some laughs.

I came to think about something when the 'bend the knee'-scene took place in regard of word-trickery and 'bend the knee'-memes.

Bending the knee is mostly associated in this show with swearing fealty to someone. However, Jon only said: "My queen" and that he should have knelt. If you think about it, him being a king and calling her his queen isn't off from how a real male monarch would adress his wife, and bending the knee is also another way of proposing a marriage. Therefore this big mess with word-trickery and 'bend the knee'-memes might as well just cloud the viewer from what's really going to happen - the marriage between Jon and Dany.

The Arya-Sansa storyline is a complete waste of time, and just acting out as a plot-filler this season - basically showing that Sansa and Arya are kind of worthless to the overall plot. Bran will problably show up next episode telling what's what because he the Three-Eyed Raven and knows everything. Then Arya off's Littlefinger as a big 'shocker' this season finale. I bet Cersei will turn scum-queen, and plan to sandwich the northern armies while they are fighting the WW. Then we'll have our silly Cleganebowl.

Northernlion for sure. Prime content, and his twitch streams (both solo and with the NLSS-crew is rock solid - not necessarily game-wise, but the commentary is golden). His PUBG-videos the last months have been hilarious. He's playing squad with other personalities like Dan Gheesling, Michaelalfox (MALF) and TheLastGreyWolf. If you want a decent perspective game-wise, you should watch the latter, but the commentary by the squad as a whole is nuts.
Northernlion is a pretty charismatic and funny guy, and he interacts well with his audience etc. As often he's not the best in videogames, but his commentary and all make it so worth it if he's playing a good game.

Besides that I often get my fill of strategy-games by watching Arumba and DDRJake, which are gurus in the EU4-community. Strategy-games is a genre I feel that Giantbomb lacks pretty hard as none in the GB-crew got the interest for the genre, or because they got interest but no time for it (Vinny, Alex and formerly Austin I guess).

Lastly I watch Sips, which is a hilarious guy in every way. Got a couple of golden series over the years, as well as couple of current running series.
