@sometingbanuble: Are you just trying to low-key tell everyone you have a problem not spending the BMW money you have on games and a normal television, with all of the hours you have dedicated to games, because you rather make it a inconvenient social experiment?

@ginormous76: Same, time is the bigger currency than money for me. I can buy whatever I want at anytime, but I only have time for like, at most, one souls games and either a main Final Fantasy game or GTA per year (time-wise, doesn't have to be specifically those titles). Sometimes I forget I bought a game that's just been sitting around, so I end up giving them to friends and family just because I got things to do.

No no, don't listen to these phonies: I'm both Naoto Oishi AND Yuta Matsumoto. Ask us anything but what's in our fridge(s).

@gornogorno: Not out of line at all, and I'll look for organizations to help out. Thanks for speaking on it!

@gornogorno: Hope it doesn't get any worse, and things turn around. I've always wanted to visit Ukraine to experience the people and architecture.

So excited for this game, though I may hold off on it if rumors about a PC port are true.

I think a good bit of those who criticize or make posts like this are usually older folks, or just long-time GB fans who still want the same stuff and vibe. It hurts sometimes when things change, or maybe they feel lost because there is still nothing like GB, but it's not hitting the same marks as they used to. I think everyone should take it easy on folks who create posts like this, because it is ultimately healthy to express these thoughts and feelings, even if it's not to some standard you hold high as "valid criticism."

That being said, I'll put my two cents in: I'm aware that I'm older, busier and have changed in taste/interest. Right now, for me, I value time and news coverage over the video game industry. Quick Looks were a big deal to me about this site, because they gave me the information I needed to make purchasing decisions, while being fun and the right amount of runtime. Quick Looks now have become too long (for me), uninteresting and/or unorganized. The YouTube editions are either really short, and/or they are edited in a way I find distracting or uninteresting. IMO, Brad, Vinny, and Rorie were/are very good at producing Quick Looks that were fun, engaging, and to the point (still love watching your videos, Rorie). I think Abby was heavily underrated in this department too, so I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to her as well. It's why I kind of have gone to Gamespot and IGN just because I don't have the time and just want enough details and footage to learn more about a game I'm interested in.

The only other thing I care about now when it comes to consuming videogame content is news and industry discussions. I don't play as much as I used to because I work a lot now, but I still care very much about this industry, the people involved, and how technology keeps advancing. I will tune into the Giantbombcast semi-regularly now just to catch what everyone has been playing and for their portion of the news. I very much value Grubbsnax, but I can catch that in podcast form elsewhere now without a subscription. I think it's cool that they are trying different and new content, but it's just not for me and where I'm in life anymore.

Again, I'm just expressing my own thoughts and feelings about this site, not trying to say anyone is wrong or wagging fingers in whatever direction. I still love everyone here at GB.

Maybe a 2 or 3 for me. I didn't have a tank character, just high strength and some dex build with a great club that was already pretty beef at that point, so I just bonked a few times and it was dead real fast.

I wish I can be excited for a racing-wheel set when it comes to motorsport games, but none of them do anything special enough for me to warrant a purchase, so I stick to controllers. Maybe if I had one of those huge racing-seat systems with the multiple monitors, but I don't make that kind of money, nor do I have the space for it.
