After reading that Kotaku story on Silicon Knights, I can't feel much remorse for Dyack. I do feel for Dyack's subordinates at SK, however; it seems they are mostly hard-working people trying to do the best with what little direction and resources they are given.

This. It's really too bad when you have to work for a terrible boss; and these days with layoffs everywhere, some people are absolutely forced to do so. It's really sad.

Dyack is an insane prick that deserves to have all of his money taken away from him and thrown into the street, unemployed, rather than most people getting laid off these days.

I've never really liked video reviews much, they don't really have much point to them. They basically reitterate exactly what they've already said in the quicklook, text review and podcast.

I know I've sent you a suggestion a while back, but I highly suggest the Afraid of Monsters mod for Half Life. Though I'll warn again that it's tough as nails, but I think that's a good part of the scare. It forces you to run, and run Fast. First level is kind of a maze, but it's worth it. I believe it's one of the scariest games out there. It gets more and more dream-like / nightmarish as it continues, especially with the level design.

I find it hilarious that Giana Sisters game has me far more excited than the next Mario game.
