I'm Australian and as you may have heard Mortal Kombat was refused classification here. Warner Bros recently tried to appeal this and fail, thus making it impossible for it to be classifed and is now effectively banned from store shelves here.
 
Since I usually import these games that get refused classification then this doesn't worry me. However, something has come up that does worry me.  Read this for a second.
 
Our customs are going to go out of their way to prevent people here from importing the game and if they do find a copy, they will fine the person who bought it a whopping $110,000! DAMMIT! Effectively, there's no possible chance for me to play this game now unless I move to a different country which isn't going to happen. Thanks a lot State Attorney Generals in Australia, thanks for not making up your DAMN mind about letting Australia have an R18+ classification for games! 
 
But seriously, a $110,000 fine for importing Mortal Kombat?!
